Good article and absolutely appalling. I agree with you that the ONLY reason they brought 25,000 troops to DC was to prevent a 500,000 person MAGA rally from happening when the installation took place.
It’s predictable and appalling that the Dems who hate the military (except to steal their absentee ballots) and hate the police are falling all over themselves to condemn our troops sleeping in parking garages.

One thing known for certain: Those cookies were not baked by Dr. Jill. Shades of Bill’s Hill when he was running for prez, ‘Illary made a big show of baking cookies, sharing her recipes; a true ‘Suzy Homemaker’ (just like us).
But lighten up-----some states are fighting back.....a little......
Republican governors led by Florida's Ron DeSantis, ordered Fla’s N/G troops to return home, stating:
“The Ntl Guard are soldiers, not Nancy Pelosi’s servants.”
Texas Gov Abbott followed suit.
The very worst ——the cringeiest moment——occurred when “Dr” Jill arrived w/ a basket of cookies.
She looked like a simpleton carrying that basket to armed N/G troops.
As if a cookie could make amends for the third class treatment the N/G received from the Swamp.

Kind of like Stalin replacing his Generals before the Nazi invasion. We know how well that went. Stalin chose his Generals based on their political loyalty rather than their organizational skill. Of course, Biden Administration is continuing what Obama did. Trump never had a chance to put his Loyalists in charge. Pompeo was excellent but that’s just one guy and he’s gone now.
