It’s their party and their agenda is the opposite of MAGA, the Big Steal proves they will go to any length to block MAGA.
I would infiltrate and revise as opposed to annihilate or abandon altogether. The name recognition alone is worth it. We are a Constitutional Republic, so Republican fits well. We need to purge the weenies.
