The people.
An intruder sitting in the Speaker’s chair scared the hell out of them. They just can’t handle events like those they have been sponsoring for years.
Think the occupation of the Wisconsin state capitol. They gloated over the orange shirted event, probably still.
They can’t handle the thought of what they have done taking place by red hats in DC.
They are pretending to be afraid in order to sell their narrative that Trump supporters are a threat.
This is no different than the acting you see with a bogus spousal abuse claim: the woman’s lawyer will get a restraining order and instruct her to pretend to cower and cringe, and strike a defensive pose, whenever the husband walks into the courtroom.
This kind of acting and deceit is right out of the Democrat play book and is disgusting - not only because it damages innocent people’s reputations - but also because it undermines the legitimate fears of real victims and real targets of aggression.
It is all part of their “never let a good crisis go to waste” doctrine. The entire January 6 “riot” was manufactured by Trump’s enemies to smear Trump and his supporters - and they are still milking it for all it’s worth.
Fortunately, the Democrats and their fake news whores lie so much, I doubt anyone is convinced who didn’t already hate Trump to begin with.
In other words, the only ones stupid enough to believe the lies are their own political base - the brainwashed rank and file Democrats.
They are “winning” right now, but in the long run, making fools of your own base does not seem like a winning strategy.
