Washington, DC is beginning to resemble a war zone, as National Guard troops numbering in the tens of thousands are armed and have been given permission to use lethal force as Joe Biden’s inauguration date looms.
A statement from the D.C. National Guard indicates “National Guardsmen were given authorization to be armed in support of the U.S. Capitol Police to protect the U.S. Capitol and individual members of Congress and their staff.”
A defense official confirmed to U.S. News & World Report that the authorization “includes permission for Guard troops to use lethal force.”
Reports indicate that 20,000 National Guard troops are on-site in preparation for anti-Biden demonstrations over the weekend.

The Associated Press is reporting that “a state of lockdown” has “descended on Washington that will last through the Jan. 20 inauguration.”
The FBI warned of armed protests being planned in all 50 state capitals as well as in Washington for the days leading up to Biden’s inauguration.

Those riots we "mostly peaceful", were in "smelly Walmart shoppers" turf, only affected people in "flyover country" and only burned out "deplorable" businesses, and therefore served the needs of our "Betters".

Show up with plackards, each one with a single large letter on it. Wear Biden paraphernalia. Be cheerful and happy-go-lucky. At show time, link up with co-conspirators and show your plackards, on which the combined single letters will spell out “Stop the Steal,” and “Fight the Fraud,” etc. Peaceably assembling. If they shoot anyone, it’ll be like Kent State.

Or if there might be some other personnel mixed in from other branches, suited up to look like NG.

And that is exactly one reason why that would never work. That is just not the way we work and what we are doing now does not work. We need a whole new strategy. It used to be that we put a lot of trust in the “people who run things”. there is no more of that trust. We cannot trust the upper class as they are no longer conservative. They are not socialist or Communist as many people here seem to think (even though they use those semantics). We have to develop amore working class and middle class view.
Those people who were born in small town America, grew up in the depression, fought world war 2 and raised children in Suburban America that many of us grew up in, and went on to become successful business men and professionals were Conservative. They were the people who ran the Republican party. These are not the people who are currently populate wealthy neighborhoods and the people who currently run the establishment are usually Democrats. We are even finding out that the Chamber of Commerce types who run the GOP are not to be trusted. Centering a political theory around empowering and enriching these people as many of us are still doing is suicide. We need a whole new set of strategy and considering what we are up against we have no real allowance for mistake much less doing something stupid.
