Elaborate if you wish. Me personally, I will not. I am in Chabot’s district. And DeWine. They expect my vote, I expect their resignation or else. I will vote for their opponent and force their resignation.
If the RNC believed we (collectively) would openly vote for the democrat if no alternative is offered........we might get back some of our power. The RNC decides if they are primaried or not.

Technically nothing. My issue is that if we want leaders like Trump then we have to elect them. As I mentioned, Chabot votes lockstep but that isn’t enough. Many do that. By leader I mean talk to the people. Be as passionate about fighting misinformation, attacks, morons as we are. We have been attacked from all sides as Trump supporters. There have been obvious injustices to supporters, Trump and anyone associated with Trump. In my view, everyone one of them should be as driven as Jordan. He fought and took the arrows. He was threatened by the party and dems. Every rep should have stood up and fought back as well. Silence is not acceptable. We as voters shouldn’t have to defend Republicans, they should defend us.
I realize this is scorched earth but what we’ve doing hasn’t worked since Reagan. The same clowns cycle from one position to another always on our dime. We can’t replace them until they die or decide to go. They know voters fear dems more than RINOS so they under perform. No consequences. Many here disagree but I’m fine with throwing out the baby with the bath water. The system is rotten, why keep any politician that has big donors. Many here like Cruz, I think he is a shill. Why? Lip service when it counts. When the heat turns up, silent. They knew about the Russia hoax 2017 yet backed Mueller. They know about the censorship. They know about the lies. They know what we are going through and what we want......lip service only. So yes, the baby is rotten and cannot be saved.

Absolutely not! But doing the same thing over and over again is insane. Our leaders will not do what we ask until they fear losing. We are either a conservative party or we’re not. We haven’t been a conservative party for decades. And the same politicians for decades. Do they fear us? No. Do they do what we ask? No. Do they defend us? No. What do they care about? Getting re-elected. Until they fear losing, nothing will change. Until there are consequences, nothing will change.
How we got here: lousy Republicans and evil dems over decades. They let it happen. Why support them? Tell them you won’t until they do X,Y,Z. That’s my take on it. Call your reps everyday. Comment on their posts. Make them earn your support.

Depending on available candidates I would, if they seem the best choice.
For general, I 90% would. Dem would have to be an old-fashioned Dem with American principles to do so. Not likely, but just once have I voted for the Dem. when I already knew I really liked him.
Otherwise no, I’m not handing more power to Dems.

I will diligently and financially support his opponent in the next primary election although I will, of course, vote for Tom McClintock in the next election should he survive the primary. However, as the "progressive disease of Progressivism" (much like the "progressive" disease of cancer) accelerates its infection of Placer County as a result of Communist Democrats fleeing the cesspool of San Francisco to contaminant the beautiful Sierra Nevada counties with their extreme Leftist ideology, I think Tom McClintock's days (as well as the days of Placer County being very conservative) are numbered anyway.

You are willing to dump “the party” merely for some bad members. You are also wrong if you think the good elected GOP members are going to follow you, they are not.
Even Donald Trump is not following you. He has told his top aides he intends to work for GOP congress candidates for 2022. That is what HE is going to to do, while you try to help drag everyone into a political dead end.
