The act resulted in the death of at least 4 people and damage within the building itself.[9] On the same day, Mitch McConnell, the outgoing Senate Majority Leader, asked for and received Stenger's resignation, effective immediately.[10] Deputy Sergeant at Arms Jennifer Hemingway was announced by McConnell as the acting sergeant-at-arms.[11]

There are still a few videos on the ‘net that show the shooter, an old scared looking masked white dude in a suit with a expensive watch darting in to shoot Ashli point blank range in a cold blooded act. Also you will see at least a dozen heavily armed swat like police behind her when the video pans to see her fall. The situation was being monitored by the police. We have virtually no technicals and assume that our leaders will treat us with the same hands-off approach of ROE that we use against others. They will not do so sir, and they will not do so in a broad fight. The Taliban have not faced unconstrained warfare and have not been "successful" as they have very little in the way of comfort, wealth or care for their loved ones well-being as westerners do. Your argument is moot.

Our neighborhood QRF has body armor, NVG's but we also know that in a coordinated effort against regular troops, we're dead, your dead and your family is dead.

There will be no coordinated or even broad asymmetric shooting CW in the US, not now or within the next generation- you can bank on it.

I just wanted to post the faces of the Sergeant at Arms of both the House and Senate for anyone out there doing research on the shooter. Both of them are gone from their positions.

I think the wrist bracelet is about as incontrovertible a link (proof) as one could have in identifying the shooter.
