Incorrect. Kaliforniastan banned the .50 BMG cartridge specifically and by cartridge dimensions. Several manufacturers have produced weapons in .50 DTC, which uses the same bullet in brass cut down by .100” which produces the same ballistics.

I understood that .50 Caliber Pistols and Rifles were Illegal in CA, not the specific Round.
What am I missing here?
