Fewer deaths than a typical weekend in Chicago.
Jan 6 was one big production and we are going down with it.
I don’t think it is high given the distance walked, number of people, etc. There are air shows and ball games and theme parks where people drop during the events...remember the person who passed out at one Trump rally?
There is a CDC chart saying that in the USA there are 875 deaths per 100,000 people, per year, in 2020.
For a crowd of 300,000 the number of deaths in a day to expect would be 875 x 3 / 365 (days in a year). That’s about 7. If you consider the average age of the crowd, it would probably work out to be statistically a few more.
If you call it half a day, a conservative estimate is about 3 or 4. Hmm. So convenient for the lying media to ignore this.
The Crusader Gal said on her video she felt like the police were deliberately trying to cause a stampede.
Ashli Babbitt, whose death is being investigated.
Capitol Hill PD officer, hit on the head with a fire extinguisher by an unknown assailant. Apparently thought he was just fine & returned to work at HQ. Later at the HQ he collapsed. News of him went in this chronological order IIRC: 1) He died. 2) No, scratch that, he didn't die. 3) His collapse was the result of injuries caused by a protestor. 4) No, his collapse had nothing to do with the protest (the Police union had different stories than the CHPD), 5) He did later die, and it's attributed to the fire extinguisher, and they are investigating to find out who hit him with it.
Woman trampled to death. The detailed story from her longtime friend who drove with her from GA, and was with her the entire time is, IMHO, far more believeable than the CHPD, who got so many things wrong that day - eg the story above re their own employee who died. I think the friend said the front of the crowd was pushing up against CHPD, and when some of the latter pushed back hard, the sudden crowd movement & confusion resulted in multiple people trampling her, including 2 or 3 people on her at once. He got his arm under her once & started to lift her, but more people stepped on her pushing her back down again. British soccer fans are experts at this, btw.
Two middle aged Trump supporters, one of a heart attack & the other one of a stroke.
The last 2 should be no big surprise, given the size of the crowd (5 figures? 6 figures? I'm surprised none of the geriatric attendees also died, given the size of the crowd multiplied by the odds of dying of natural causes on any given day), the age of the men, the fact that they no doubt had an exhausting day, including a march from one area to another. I've been to rallies in DC that did NOT include a march, and it was very tiring, even in my early 40s.
Most attendees, especially non-residents of DC, don't know all the best ways to get where you're going when there are 100000 other people headed for the same destination. You have little to no sleep, you're standing all the time walking around trying to figure out the best place to stand, waiting in long lines at a limited number of Porta potties, getting there, getting back, etc.
The big rallies I've been to have *always* been way more than worth the hassle in my experience. But attendees should know what they're getting into. Before you go to one of these, ask questions of someone who's been to one, and take notes.
True - people collapse at other events. But 3 people dying from medical emergencies at one event sounds like a lot of people.
Possibly another factor! It's not being mentioned by the media... The Left seems to believe tear gas wasn't used on the pro-Trump crowd, but videos show that it was.
But how far? Three Standard Deviations? Four? Seven?
You seem to have some understanding of statistical analysis, mortality rates, and actuary tables, so...
Regards,
Judging by so many fat AA cop hires in major “diverse” cities I am surprised there arent more heart attacks.
Put a million folks together anywhere at any time and three are likely to die over a 12 hour span.
