I’ll be honest, I was laughing my ass off all afternoon watching this stuff. I only learned later that a young woman had been killed, and that’s really damn sad.
What I’m not going to do is join in the handwringing over a few Trump-supporters who broke some windows and are taking selfies in Nancy Pelosi’s office, handwringing driven by the same media who spent all summer long spoon-feeding us the “mostly peaceful protest” bullsh*t. Today they’ve suddenly discovered rioting is bad? Give me a break.
I’m upset about the woman who was killed but I’m not angry at the protesters. They had every reason to be pissed off. I’m tired of the hypocrisy from the media who are now feigning outrage.
Truth is though, what happened today is probably the end of MAGA. Trump is finished.
Trump was stupid to ask people to come for a rally. What could it ever have accomplished. In the best case it would only take attention away from the congressional argument against the fraudulent elections. But the worst case - violence -,was always the most likely outcome, because every MaagA rally in Dcchas ended with antifa-inspired violence
I’m not being ab after-game quarterback. Bibposted weeks ago that this rally could cause big trouble for MAGA and its message and it played into the hands of antifa and deep state. Trump was stupid and selfish to urge people to come.
