Masses of patriots have stormed the Capitol Building after Vice President Mike Pence announced that he will not be standing with President Donald Trump and his supporters. Reporters on the scene say that “thousands” of people have breached the barriers and that there is currently no cellphone service at the building.

Trump was stupid to ask people to come for a rally. What could it ever have accomplished. In the best case it would only take attention away from the congressional argument against the fraudulent elections. But the worst case - violence -,was always the most likely outcome, because every MaagA rally in Dcchas ended with antifa-inspired violence

I’m not being ab after-game quarterback. Bibposted weeks ago that this rally could cause big trouble for MAGA and its message and it played into the hands of antifa and deep state. Trump was stupid and selfish to urge people to come.

As you say, after today MAGA is over

Old pro, I had to detach after watching the brain dead thugs put their feet on tables. As I compared ALL of the rallies I've watched including the one today, I couldn't recall one Trump supporter behaving like that. Then I replayed in my mind images and sounds of all the antifa rioters and I knew who these faux people were. And knew Trump had been had by the Democrat mafia in their slickest OP, trumping all the rest! Trump invites a million men and women to a rally. He was had by the same people who stand down police, control the number of cops, allow the Antifa members to “storm the barricade” filming live somehow when cell service isn't functioning for others.

It all provided graceful exits for Republicans to say, “Sorry, I can't support violence!” One person was shot in the back, one true Trump supporter, whose life was sacrificed for the coup to get a headline. Yes, the coup plotters made sure to change the headlines today. And instead of the million supporters and betrayal of Trump, voila!

I had to come back to tell you “these are not with us”!

“ Oh my gosh, our reputation! Screw you and your stupid defeatist attitude”

You still support the “storming of the Capitol” and say “screw your” to me for warning it will be very bad for MAGA and for Trump?

Your apology to me is accepted!

“ Maybe you’re just the most cowardly excuse of a coward??”

You still support the “storming of the Capitol” and consider me “cowardly” for warning it will be very bad for MAGA and for Trump?

“ You would make a wonderful battered spouse.”

You still support yesterday’s “storming of the Capitol” - and still think I am like “a battered spouse” to say it was a stupid thing to do (if MAGA did it, not antifa posing as MAGA)???

THATs ok, apology accepted. We can all let our passions carry us away sometimes, but in the light of the next day everyone can agree that the rally didn’t accomplish any good for Trump and MAGA , and “storming the Capitol” was stupidity that has only accomplished bad for Trump and MAGA.

I think you may have missed my point yesterday and in other responses yesterday I made it clearer.

We didn’t get here overnight.

We could start with the “peaceful” movements of the 60’s featuring Weather Underground with Bill Ayers and his bombings of police stations (deaths ensued). But let’s stick with the more recent.

We have seen years of abuses such as storming the Wisconsin Capital while it was in session and shutting it down and beating the legislators (2011), Code Pink infiltrating the Senate during the Kavanaugh hearings and threatening and intimidating Senators, GOP congressmen being shot, our cities burned in the name of resistance and social justice and on and on.

And there were no consequence for any of it.

Yesterday was shameful but the logical conclusion of seeing all that on TV. People say: “oh look, rioting and storming government buildings is the way we get what we want.” And look what happens. What a shock!!

At the core of the problem is that we have a two tiered system of outrage and worse, criminal justice. And the media and politicians participating in it only dump gas on the fire. It only further alienates and enrages those who are subject to the two tiered system who look at it and say that they have no other way.

So while yesterday was a shameful act, those who now decry it while having remained silent or allowed themselves to be silenced ( not saying you) when shameful actions were taking place over the last decades are themselves shameful. They are eager participants in the Orwellian new order.

I suspect that many of them are happy to have this as a useful tool to kill off Trump and his movement. Perhaps they are correct. But their rank hypocrisy is turning whatever victory they (and I mean Crenshaw and the rest of the GOP) think they have into a hollow one. The GOP died yesterday and just doesn’t realize it yet.

Yes, plenty of “shameful” actions to go around. We did not arrive at our Capital being stormed overnight. The path was paved to that event.

I agree. And while I drank nothing yesterday, maybe I have "sobered up" a bit.

There were a lot of good people who followed Trump. I'd like to count myself as one of them. But there were some not good people as well. There were pissed off Americans at that really yesterday, justifiably angry but there were also some really deranged people there too. And they weren't all Antifa.

I didn't know what the point of the rally was when he first called for it. I don't think he had a plan other than, "Show up and break stuff because that's what the Left does and now it's our turn!"
