Agreed. I like to think of myself as being behind enemy lines. There’s Zero hope of anything ever changing for the better if the place is abandoned and surrendered.
As an example, there could be a new state that runs from Milwaukee WI through the Chicago metro area (6 counties) down to Gary IN. Another new state could be carved out that would include St Louis MO and the nearby existing Illinois suburbs of St Louis.
The confrontations that would result from; which state takes a different name, who takes on the existing debt of each state, and other primary issues. That might be just delaying violence over the splits, or actually allow for peaceful separation. Time will tell.
Other parts of the country would have similar splits; Los Angeles to San Francisco, Austin TX and suburbs, New York City to Philadelphia, etc.
There are no free States. They are all under attack.
And most importantly- EDUCATION!

That's pie in the sky. There is no fix. They're outnumbered by leftist, illegals, foreign nationals and fraudulent elections. We saw that coming in CA decades ago. In the last few decades we lived in CA, every single thing we supported or voted for failed.
They can fight all they want, but they're going to lose.

And one more thing. In CA every year they graduate a conga-line of millions of kiddies who’ve been thoroughly brain washed by leftist in CA public indoctrination centers called schools.
Now throw in millions of illegals, foreign nationals and leftist run fraudulent elections and this means they’re screwed and bailing out is the only recourse. Btw, Where I am now, I’d have to live to 160 years old for it to ever get as bad as it was when I lived CA.

The California I grew up in wasn't leftist. When I was a teenager, we had a Republican governor, two Republican US Senators, some of the most conservative Representatives in the nation, and a solidly conservative schools chief. The mayor of Los Angeles was a Democrat who was more conservative than most Republicans. The atmosphere was pro-free enterprise and taxes and regulations were low.
It was Ronald Reagan who unwittingly turned our state blue when he opened the floodgates to illegal immigration by signing the Simpson-Mazzoli immigration reform act.
