It is not surprising that people are leaving California and New York in record numbers. Citizens of those oppressive, socialist-leaning, nanny states have long suffered under governments that prioritize the rights and well-being of criminals while ignoring or abusing their own law-abiding and tax-paying citizens. For that reason, if you are one of those rare California conservatives, it is time to move to a free state.
While it is not surprising to me that people are leaving California, it is surprising to me that there are still a (relatively) significant number of California conservatives and, more generally, Republicans in California. Most people that are to the right of Karl Marx would have fled that dystopian hellhole from now.
I am from Georgia but go to school in Virginia, a moderate blue state. Even living there is bad enough, especially because Governor Blackface (aka Ralph Northam) is constantly trying to steal the guns of his citizens. The liberal students and professors I am surrounded by do not help things either.
But, in any case, that is just living in a moderate blue state. California and New York, on the other hand, are deep blue states. Especially California. The homeless and criminal elements of society are given priority over taxpayers. The police back down to the Marxist mob of BLM activists and Antifa rioters. California conservatives on college campuses are routinely attacked, often physically, by Antifa thugs.
Life is bad for California conservatives, and generally for conservatives in blue states. For that reason, it is time for conservative Americans around the nation to flee to free states.

The problem is with the urban elite, the Newsoms and Pelosis, the university liberals, college professors, New York transplants, the Silicon Valley oligarchs, and ghettos full of beaner gibs-me-dats, and gang bangers.
Many have, like myself. Problem is - jobs. The plandemic has totally screwed things up. You don’t make a cross county move without having work waiting for you. No job, no ability to get a home and support a family. I was fortunate in that I retired and had a home in the American Redoubt to fall back on. Many are still tied down because of financial chains. I don’t hold that against them, they are struggling to find ways to get out.

I like the idea of once again calling Republican held states “free states”, as it implies they are inherently different from Democrat “slave states”.
This works in several ways.

I used to think that California by nature was simply leftist, supported by long-term grooming of special interest groups, such as government workers, leftist stereotypes of Latinos, etc…
And this may be partially true
But then I realized, you can’t easily plan long-term nor have people behave how they are supposed to. California’s political class still needs a guaranteed lock-down, go-to method for political control. And that is a corrupt electoral system and direct voter fraud.
Yep cut and run that’s the winning formular.

There’s little doubt that as older people die off, the population in general is trending left. There are many reasons, the internet, globalization, control of mass media by leftys, etc.
My Mom had sisters that lived in California, she always called it the land of fruits and nuts. But pretty much throughout my life California has been a trendsetter for the rest of the country, and I think this continues today.

The Marxist corruption is in all states to varying degrees, and is aided by corrupt Republicans.
Sooner or later all states will be California.
Might as well deal with the corruption on the front lines.
And if the Repub sell-outs let the Corruptocrats get away with their Coup, the republic will be dead anyway.
It will be about 10 years to collapse (going by the Venezuela example), so it won't matter where anyone lives, it will be on their doorstep.
