These could be the first stirrings of a socially-conservative, economically-liberal political movement/party.
That would jumble American politics as much as President Trump has.

You have an interesting perspective on this. Many dems do not go with the hard left commie hate America game.
It would be nice if the dems would go back to a Truman/Kennedy type party while the pubs evolve into a patriot party similar to the Eisenhower/Nixon/Reagan years with Trump’s ability to push back.
It would then be a two party system again. I could at least stomach Tulsi on the other side, but would never vote for her.
Tulsi’s father is a conservative politician with some diverging views and she once worked closely with him. She then veered off to the left but seeing what is going one maybe this is the start of a course correction.
Reagan didn’t quit the democrat party until age 51.
