Seeing the results are all that really matter, assuming there is indeed evidence of votes being flipped.
All else said, any code used for something so absolutely critical as national elections should be Open Source and freely available for ANYONE to review.
There should be NOTHING “proprietary” about voting software. It’s simple: read a ballot. Add +1 to the appropriate buckets. Record results.
Many of us could easily write the app in a pretty short amount of time.
