All else said, any code used for something so absolutely critical as national elections should be Open Source and freely available for ANYONE to review.

There should be NOTHING “proprietary” about voting software. It’s simple: read a ballot. Add +1 to the appropriate buckets. Record results.

Many of us could easily write the app in a pretty short amount of time.

I would just use open source Open Office Spreadsheet Program.

Easy to use and easy to give fraudulent results. (If I was Demoncrat.)
