Former ABC chairman Maurice Newman says President Donald Trump is “not a globalist” while all who are opposed to him are including big tech, big media, and the “crony capitalists”.
“They are the big tech, big media, the crony capitalists who are into renewable energy and all of those global type activities,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Alan Jones.
Mr Newman spoke of Trump’s achievements during his term as President, commenting he stood up to and “upset” many from other countries.
“NATO had been free-riding on the United States, and it took him to actually press what they had all agreed to do but had not honored...
“For the last four years, Donald Trump has been mercilessly hounded by the media, by his political opponents in a way I don’t think any president in history has been,” he said.

Thanks; I already see this at work in my area, where high costs and fleeing jobs have made ownership of a home undesirable and commitment even to 5-7 years of car payments too risky. More and more people live in apartments (old detached single-family homes are being replaced by multi-unit hives for childless drones), drive leased vehicles, and won’t breed. Not only do more and more people “own” nothing; they don’t even have families of their own - but I wouldn’t say they are happy. In fact, I’d say the WHITE leftist violence has its roots in the unhappiness and hopelessness of young people who realize their country has been sold out from underneath them - and therefore even a potential Biden victory will not reduce this violence.
Years ago some people who survived the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11 very publicly re-evaluated their lives; some never returned to the workforce, while others “traded down” to lower-paying jobs that allowed more time to either start a family or attend to an existing one (understanding that there would be a lifestyle impact but accepting that). This Red Chinese flu is causing some similar reactions; a lot of people are wondering what we’re even doing here.

That’s a pretty clear recognition & protection of a right to private property.
And the subsequent plethora of admonitions to “give” axiomatically presumes a thing is one’s to give; never is such admonition presented as “take” as though everything is there for the taking.

20% of the Ten Commandments recognize ownership. “Thou shalt not covet your neighbor’s ...” enumerates a slate of things that belong (!) to ‘your neighbor’, with clear implication what’s included doesn’t end with that list (unless someone wants to argue that it only includes living things as ‘owned’). “Thou shalt not steal” would be meaningless without a right to private property.
