Do you mean to tell me a squad of US Army Delta Force gets into a firefight with a bunch of CIA spooks and the spooks, by all appearances take out five of the Delta Force and all of this while conducting a raid on a CIA installation in Germany and no one, on either side of the Atlantic is talking about this?
About 1/2 the people on this board are in automatic “Dismiss as BS mode” when they should be in a “Wait for clarification and more information” mode.
Does the CIA recruit only Harvard and Yale Graduates, or does it recruit from the armed forces too? Or does it contract out security work to private groups that DO recruit from the U.S. Military? Bet its the later.
As far as I recollect a force attacking a secure position will always have higher casualties, especially if they lose the element of surprise.

No, why would you think it would? Its Spec Forces and the CIA! Everything they do they try to do with as little outside exposure as possible, especially true of the CIA, since it involves illegality. (I doubt they had some Bob Woodward along to keep them company.)
Here is what you should do, put this in your “BS” column, ignore any further stories about this subject. Its a free country and I have no problem with your rejecting this as BS.
