The story said it was General Esmail Qaani, who is one of Iran’s top generals . . . unless of course President Trump has already droned him.
We (with Israel) just killed Iran’s top atomic scientist. If Iran doesn’t do anything in response, I kind of doubt we’re going to do an all-out bombing attack. But who knows.

Well played! I wish I could laugh, but I lost friends and former comrades in the sandbox attempting to “build democracy” and the more time passes the more I question what the real goal there was.
Contractors got rich, state department bureaucrats felt important, think-tanks flourished, and in the end, our most precious treasure was waved around for an unattainable objective as IED/ambush bait.
I still think there was something to be said for fighting them over there instead of here, but perhaps the best way to protect our nation is to NOT bring Jihadist here in the first place.
I have also realized it is cheaper and we would lose fewer people if we simply invaded and ripped them a new one and immediately left every few years vs trying to occupy the nation and build it up to be some kind of rainbow and unicorn of democracy. It will never happen.
The War on Terror has morphed into the War on Poverty. People think if we spend our resources (and blood) to promote some kind of good that the recipients of our largess and charity will somehow take the final step on their own.
I am not surprised. biden has assured iran that they will be able to do anything they want to us, and there will be no reprisals. This is to continue the Act of Contrition started by carter and continued by obammy for the US’s coup d’etat in iran.
I wish there were some way I could tell the half of the population that voted for biden what complete and total anal exit passageways they are and what they have done to the USA and the world. But I doubt they would have any idea what I’m talking about.
Excellent post and hits an important point: a society needs to reach a certain level of evolution to embrace democracy. The Arab countries in the Middle East aren’t there yet. They only have two choices for government: dictatorship/authoritarianism or religious extremist. We shouldn’t be trying to build democracy because it won’t work. We should just be attacking specific people/groups when they threaten Americans or American interests.
This situation looks like the exact opposite of that one - when Biden's in, it's open season...

Implying what, exactly? Be clear, leave no doubts that can misconstrued by those reading your words.
I say that because if you are implying that John Kerry has been a traitorous turncoat since that late 1960s because his paternal grandparents were Jewish (but converted to Roman Catholicism nearly 120 years ago, before immigrating to this country), and you take no account of the religion of his mother’s family, nor that of his wives, nor that of his Moslem son-in-law, nor of the fact that he is a practicing Roman Catholic and claims to have been unaware if his Jewish heritage until 2004, then you are an ignorant, moronic, anti-Semitic, horse’s ass.
But please clear this matter up by clarifying EXACTLY what you meant, I would hate for anyone to pass premature judgment on you.
