President Donald Trump’s legal team distanced themselves from attorney Sidney Powell on Sunday evening, noting that she did not represent the president, either as part of the team or in his personal capacity.
In a statement attributed to Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, and Trump legal adviser Jenna Ellis, the team said: “Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity.”
Gen. Michael Flynn, a former Trump administration official, said lawyer Sidney Powell is “staying the course” and will prove election fraud after the president’s legal team said she is not working for the campaign on Sunday night.
Powell, who represented Flynn in his legal case, “has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours,” he wrote on Twitter after former New York Mayor and campaign attorney Rudy Giuliani made the statement about her status.
“She understands the WH press release & agrees with it,” Flynn said. “She is staying the course to prove the massive deliberate election fraud that robbed #WeThePeople of our votes for President Trump & other Republican candidates.”
Powell herself responded by releasing a statement saying that she will continue to represent the “#WeThePeople” — and adding at the end of her statement the hashtag “#KrakenOnSteroids.”
Powell appeared undeterred after the Trump Legal Team distanced themselves from her, while pledging to continue fighting against what she alleges of widespread voter fraud occurring during the 2020 election due to the vote-counting machines. Powell has so far failed to provide any evidence backing her claims.
“I understand today’s press release,” Powell told CBS News. “I will continue to represent #WeThePeople who had their votes for Trump and other Republicans stolen by massive fraud through Dominion and Smartmatic, and we will be filing suit soon. The chips will fall where they may, and we will defend the foundations of this great Republic. #KrakenOnSteroids” Image below:
While it is not clear why Powell’s account was reportedly suspended, a number of Powell’s recent tweets have gotten tagged with Twitter’s warning label, “This claim about election fraud is disputed,” which the social media company has previously used to suspend or ban accounts for repeated violations.
Lin Wood also tweeted: Sidney Powel & I are more alike than we are different.
We are fighting different legal battles for the same clients – We The People.
The People voted overwhelmingly to re-elect President Trump.
All interests are aligned.

What the _______!!! Sidney is good.... we need good in this fight! Are the dem side trying to undermine her because she is so good and Trump needs her? or is there something I don’t know that is stirring and she is not satisfied with “things”.....

I’m so nervous about the outcome of this election. We all know biden is incapable and harris is from the pit of control and despair.. and they would tear the whole country apart.... do we have to go all the distance with that at the helm, for them to know that we are right. or will the destruction they would cause, still not be enoough.. and I know it would still not be enough... what gives??
It feels like the snake of all time is roaming around andn through all of the US and among all the people...and this is not comforting!

Just another sideshow at the circus. But don't get me wrong, I'm all for Trump, just dazed & confused.
Sydney has been officially unleashed...she doesn’t suffer the same constraints as Rudy and company and can “go there” with everything.

Don’t rule Sydney Powell out, her reputation is at stake.
Most likely has to do with the difference between civil and criminal case filings.
Love this verse ... it’s the only way many of us keep going, our faith. I do believe that is why so many on the Left are terrified of COVID ... they are Godless. They believe there is nothing after life on this earth, while those of us who have Faith, look forward to being forever in the presence of God’s love.
Long talk with my brother yesterday on these matters ... we’re on the same page. Fortunately, our entire close family members are people of faith, which makes things easier because we can support & uplift each other. We intend to have a grateful Thanksgiving for all of our blessings, which are many. If Biden cheats his way into the Presidency, we’ll take it a day at a time. We know that “in the end WE will look in triumph on OUR foes”
She’s suffering from a bad case of Michael Avenatti Syndrome, where a lawyer spends more time in front of cameras than in the courtroom, thinking that they are the most important part of the process.
Team Trump cut a loose cannon, that is all. Mistakes happen.

What RummyChick fails to realize is that Sydney is not out the door but is part of a brilliantly conceived pincer action that will result in Trump’s reelection, either now or in four years.
