That’s too bad. I saw and heard this on Catholic radio. Our clergy during the Revolution actually took up arms to fight the British. Couldn’t the current clergy do less to fight obvious tyranny?

Matthew 7:21-23 the Lord says what will happen to people like this. The protection of innocent human life is one of the central teachings of the church. Our priest speaks on the subject quite frequently is is always strong in his condemnation of horrible act of abortion. I have commended him for his courage in speaking out, which has probably cost him some support in the parish from those who would seek to choose which elements of the gospel they prefer to follow and which they would reject.
It is exactly this in the churches in my area that prompted my exodus from formal participation in the Catholic Church. Like Ronald Reagan said about the democrats, I did not leave the Catholic Church, the Catholic Church left me! And after 15 years in nominally Catholic educational institutions.
And yet not a single member of my Latin Mass parish anything like that. For that matter, the local regular Mass parish doesn’t have many if any of those either.
Blissfully lacking in critical thinking and their belief/faith in supporting completely anti-Christian and anti-Catholic realities— like the extra-judicial murder of the unborn, and the reducing to worthless the societal value of a human life with all of the potential to better all of our lives. Think of them as complete opposite of the renaissance of faith, and the dark robed torturers of the past.
Utterly void of true humanity, and tonnes of unresolved guilt (which confession does not truly remove).
