Scarborough: This Election for the Most Part Was an Absolute Repudiation of the Democratic Party as a Brand

SCARBOROUGH: “There is no way to put this other than to say this election was — Joe Biden winning looks like a one-off. This election for the most part was an absolute repudiation of the Democratic Party as a brand. Their brand doesn’t work across most of America. It just doesn’t. They got routed in Senate races they should have won. I mean, if you don’t believe me, just look back at all of the predictions. Are Democrats going to win 9, 10, 11 Senate seats? The House results are perhaps even more shocking. Nobody thought that this was going to be close. The weekend before the election, Republican pollsters were talking about hemorrhaging support in suburbs and couldn’t believe the numbers, they said, ‘We’re going to get destroyed.’ Well, it ended up they couldn’t believe the numbers for a good reason. The numbers were wrong. And Kasie, this is going to have a profound impact over the next ten years. The state legislatures that Democrats thought they were going to gain, the state legislatures that Democrats lost, all of this is going to have a consequential impact on redistricting and the shape of the map over the next ten years."

Yeah, he frankly brought a lot of problems on himself.

The tweets and hyperbole and constant 24/7 drama. A lot of people just wanted a boring guy as President they don’t have to worry about. I can’t tell you how many women agree with Trump’s policies and just couldn’t stand his personality.

Also, COVID was a mess. He was warned by Tom Cotton in January. If he was more aggressive shutting down the borders to China and Europe and the whole world, the US might have stood a fighting chance of containing it all and living in a nice COVID free bubble.

He was warned. Lots of people knew in January COVID was going to be a disaster and the chicoms were lying about everything.

So then, who picked Donald Trump’s cabinet?

Way too many people here live in a FR bubble where President Trump is God Emperor. Out in the real world, a lot of good people are just exhausted of everything.

The Trump Presidency became a reality show, the greatest season of The Apprentice that went on long enough. These people, not flaming liberals but regular people, grew tired. They voted for GOP House and Senators and then they voted for Joe Biden because, as much as they hate "career politicians", they just want to go back to normal.

I voted for Trump. My wife voted for Trump. But, he lost. It is what it is.

“So then, who picked Donald Trump’s cabinet?”

quit being disingenuous, it is a sad spectacle. Trump nominated people for his cabinet and under McConnell and the GOPe, in collusion with the Democrats, many of President Trump’s nominations had to be withdrawn.

Also, do you remember the FBI setup and he DOJ unjust prosecution of General Flynn? Quit acting like a leftist troll.

Educate yourself: List of Donald Trump nominees who have rejected or forced to withdraw

under McConnell and the GOPe, in collusion with the Democrats,

If you think McConnell & Co. aren't going to ultimately determine Biden's cabinet also, then you are naive.

You are so far off on your women analysis that I can’t even begin to tell you. You obviously must be a DC insider spreading gloom, a troll or a democrat. Covid was a mess by design and used to usher in vote fraud by mail. His “drama” was talking directly to the American people because the hostile media always misconstrued every word he spoke.

Get a grip, untwist your pink panties and understand you’ve been lied to for years by the democrats

Oh, so he wants to be a Republican again?

As long as the soft and spineless GOPe is in power then yes.

He isn’t rubbing it in for that reason. A lot of the country hates them and their candidate and won’t play election roulette again. Their government is not legitimate.

But you were posting that that was not how it was supposed to work, that shouldn’t Biden pick his cabinet? I am absolutely certain the the Rebulblicans will oppose just enough to get paid and then bend over like candya55 bottom-boys.

Yeah, the elections will work again in 2022.

Here in Arizona, we have had two straight senate seats stolen and the presidency.

I never said such a thing. That's what you wanted me to say so that you could correct me and tell me to "get educated."

Everybody knows the Senate has the power to influence what cabinet members are going to be confirmed. And, based on that reality, the President picks for his cabinet those he can get through the Senate.

It's always been that way. It was set up this way intentionally by the Founders.

And because I did not spell it out in long-form like this in my original post -- because I should not have to, it's Civics 101 -- you have to nitpick to try to show how smart your are or something.

Are you one of those Q people? Because that's one of their common tactics.

"These leftists are scared shitless they have awakened a sleeping giant. Regardless of what happens over the next 8 weeks, we have to keep the movement alive - 2022 we take back the house. "

That will never happen. Do you think after they steal the Presidency in such an outrageous blatant in your face act of fraud that they will somehow allow a real election in two years? The next midterm will see the senate taken over by the commies and many seats lost in the house. It does not matter how we vote, we will lose. After that they will come for the guns.

Scarborough is trying to calm conservative patriots into thinking this is just an anomaly and we will get um next time. He knows that is not true. He knows these are totalitarians who have zero intention of us ever taking back power. So right now they need to quell the masses until which time they can be disarmed.

These people are evil, pure and simple.

Agree. Retirement in Europe is looking better all the time. One of the best things about being an expat is you don’t worry yourself about local politics. I expect whole generations of Americans will just tune out politics now after seeing their votes so brazenly stolen by the political elite establishment.

If the Dems can’t pack the court, there is hope that SCOTUS can pull the plug on the Sullivan decision - enabling Republicans to sue for libel.

Sullivan effectively made “wire service journalist” a title of nobility. Able to libel Republicans (but not Democrats) mercilessly without recourse.

If Trump successfully sued for the damages he actually incurred via being libeled, he would own the networks.

Again, see Post #74.
