Can the democrat party as it exists today survive as a national party without a majority of its members (non-radicals)? No.
Can the democrat party as it exists today divest itself of the radical left and leftist funding? No.
However, they are holding a sizeable number of their voters who don’t seem to understand how much the DNC has changed.
We are one election away from a radically different nation. That is not hyperbole, you only have to listen to them. Let us pray that today is not that day!

The more immediate problem is all the RINOs who are privately supporting them against Trump.
We can’t change democrats but we sure can hold our OWN accountable. Too many of us simply stop at blaming the democrats for everything they accomplish to ruin our nation. We’re forgetting that they have a good number of Republicans who side with them time and time again - because THEY stand to gain too in the democrats attempts to wrestle power and $$$ away from the American people for themselves (DC).

But if the Democrats lose, then they will have to resolve the internal divide they face. Do “sane” Democrats go along with the radical leftists that have seized their party? Do they go to the GOP? Do they form a third party? They have some issues to work through, in my opinion.

You sound like you are from DU. Sounds like you cannot fathom something outside of your reality? I voted for Trump and sincerely hope he wins. However blind optimism will only result in disappointment. I am aware of a significant number of people that voted for Trump in 2016 that are not voting today or are voting for Biden. That raises a lot of concern in me for me. Do not forget the inevitable fraud that the Dems will pull. They have tried everything to get Trump out of office and this is their last hope. They are literally rats in a corner.
