Psychobabble. Most abused children do not become abusers, criminals and cokeheads. This is a load of hooey.
Some people are stronger than others when it comes to resisting being mentally damaged by traumatic experiences.
I can think of a few that have.
Adolph Hitler, Joe Stalin, Bill Clinton, Barry Obama.
Then to a lessor extent, nearly every English Male Monarch in that nations history as well as a few Female Monarchs.
Just to name four.
