Breaking with conventional mainstream media wisdom about voters' top election concerns, part of President Trump's strategy will be to pummel rival Joe Biden on corruption allegations during Thursday's presidential debate in Nashville.
In a race that could hinge on questions of character, a Trump campaign pollster told Just the News that mainstream media polling questions asking voters to pick their top issues of concern from a list usually don't include corruption or scandals such as the Hunter Biden/Burisma investigation or FISA abuse among the options listed.
For example, recent polling from Gallup recently gave registered voters a list of 16 issues to rank in order of importance for their vote. None of those 16 options included questions around government accountability or corruption or surveillance of the 2016 Trump campaign and alleged FISA abuse.
A recent Pew Research Center survey employed a similar methodology with 12 issues, none of which included government integrity or public trust as an option.
Because of this information gap, the Trump camp is prioritizing discussing these issues throughout the debate.
"The mainstream media polls they're not asking these questions at all, they're not acknowledging that this ever happened," John McLaughlin, a pollster for the Trump 2020 campaign told "Just the News AM" television show on Tuesday...

Censorship/doxxing/leftist rioting and intimidation are huge issues of great concern to many Americans—and are totally missed by leftist pollsters.
If the President points the finger at the moderator and says “censor” and “You will not censor the American people” and “You will not censor me” a few times during the debate, he will be _greatly_ rewarded.
I think President Trump should begin every statement with Hunter and I spoke and we agree that....
I think that might push Sleepy Joe over the edge.
“Stick with Joes crimes.”
You are right. The point is Joe sold out the interests of ordinary Americans for money.
Supposedly, the mic for each person will be turned off when the other is answering a question for the allotted 2 minute period. If they turn off POTUS’s mic when he is blasting old Joe for his corruption, that would cause an avalanche of outrage that they would be so bold to censor a legitimate news story while everyone is watching. Shutting down POTUS would be a really stupid move, Media scum.
I thought this was a great post by freeper FLT-bird:
Firstly Trump absolutely needs to just ignore whatever question is asked and go on at length about Hunter Bidens laptop, about how obvious it is that its his and about how it shows the Bidens corruption. He should say Biden needs to address the facts directly. (Turning to Biden) Say it aint so Joe.
If the moderator IN ANY WAY attempts to interrupt him or talk over him or cut off his mic during his time, Trump needs to go at him directly. This is a prime example of the BIAS and CORRUPTION of the mainstream media and Big Tech acting as the propaganda arm of the Democrat party and trying to impose CENSORSHIP on America.
The bias and censorship are hated even by many old school liberals and are certainly hated by those who lean libertarian, by moderates and independents and even many Bernie Bros are deeply suspicious of the large corporations of the MSM and Big Tech. I think Trump making it clear he is fighting against them Would be an even bigger vote getter than the disgust over Bidens corruption.
In short, make the MSM eat the discussion being made about Hunters laptop OR make them directly show their corruption by stopping it.

corruption is a major reflection of character, something voters DO care about so ... so bringing up corruption is really an attack on character ...
It’s a joke, it’s the same crap they talked about in the first debate and his town hall meeting with Savannah Guthrie, they always want to talk about those subjects so they can ask him the same loaded questions “Denounce white supremacy” “Why don’t you follow the science of climate change?” meanwhile Biden gets to spew his usual crap.
