The President will get 70% of the vote in the Quad Cities (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey). People are already lining up.
We'll cut him a break on "Skaneateles."
Here in Peoria a mini rally has sprung up on Lake Pleasant Parkway. One tent with Trump stuff has become many tents with food trucks, live music, and TONS of vehicles bearing Trump flags.
That sounds like fun. All over the country, patriots are creating their own Trump rallies. Having been to a regular Trump rally, I can say that part of the joy is just being with others who all proudly love the USA.
Id love to go to one but I hate crowds. I might make an exception for him.
Been in Arizona since the late 60s. Never heard ANYONE call it “Presskit” - including when I was there a few months ago.

I have. All the time.
NEVER hear it called PRESS SCOT from the locals.
Maybe the locals were hiding when I was there this summer....
1.) Prescott
This must be one of the oldest arguments in Arizona. Many people think you’re going to sound like a moron if you go to Prescott and start talking about PRESS-cot. It’s PRESS-kit, right? Not so fast. We’ve seen several Prescott residents who insist it’s PRESS-cot. That includes a local research historian, who claims all the people who know Prescott history call it Press-cot.
We decided to get a definitive answer from City Hall.
“It is Press-kit,” city spokesman Pete Wertheim says. “You best not say Press-cot when you’re in Press-kit!”
How do you say Mogollon Rim then?
We had students come to our flight school in OC, CA from Embry Riddle in Prescott and they always pronounced it Preskit...
Kind of like Easterners pronouncing Oregon (Oregun) - hard to spell it the way they pronounce it - “Oregone” perhaps...I did the same thing when I moved from the east coast to the west coast in the fifties - only did it once...
As long as he doesnt pronounce Nevada like Neh vahhhdah. Like easterners do. Hearing that pronunciation makes Nevadans cringe like being forced to watch a weekend long Hillary versus Kameltoe marathon cackle competition with your mother in law
Seriously, we really really hate it
Yep! Thats how we know someone is a newbie.
Mogie (like Bogie)-Onn (Named after a Spanish general)
I lived in Flagstaff for 22 years and never pronounced it “Preskitt” either. Lol
Yeah, they always look like they are having a great time: happy friendly
I’m originally from Arizona, and never knew any other way to pronounce it than “Preskit”.
I hope that running an event in Northern Arizona will impact the State as a whole!!
