This is a rant. Plain and simple. If I don't rant here, I'll burst a blood vessel because I don't have President Trump's grace and patience. Within the first five seconds of the Trump Town Hall hosted by Savannah Guthrie, I was using words that would make a sailor blush.
Please tell me I'm not the only one.
In yet another example of Trump-debating-and-beating-the-Moderator, the Mainstream Media culminated a week of doing every possible thing to silence any anti-Biden news with this charade of a Town Hall.
How exactly is that supposed to serve the Democratic ticket!?!
Don't they know that a martyr is more attractive, not less?
Thank God in debate Trump ain't no gentleman. Savannah may look bedraggled yet sweet in candy pink, but she came out swinging, beating the same outdated, invalidated drum, starting with the gag-me-with-a-spoon "Covid, Covid, Covid" and moving on to White Supremacy. Way to think inside the box, Savannah! A rehash of a rehash of a rehash. It didn't work four years ago and it won't work now.We're not stupid, even if Kamala thinks we are. (Debt, anyone!?! LOL)
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
If you watched the Town Hall on YouTube as I did, you doubtless noticed that the ABC icon for Biden subliminally screamed "President" while the NBC icon just said "Trump." Uh-huh. Nice try.
But it wasn't just the visual, it was the audio quality. It was horrific on YouTube. Torturous. The ear drums were buffeted. I finally found good quality audio on the Telemundo channel. My nature is usually trusting, but I believe the audio was engineered to torture the American people into tuning Trump out.
Remember "their feet left bloody footprints in the snow." We are the people of Valley Forge, of Bloody Omaha, of Fort McHenry. Bad audio won't discourage us from supporting our beloved president. We patriotic Americans are made of sterner stuff than that!
It may be clever marketing but bookending each segment of the debate, I mean "Trump Town Hall" with Joe Biden ads was in-your-face. Shut up, Joe! Or shall we talk about Hunter? Aw, c'mon man, I wanna talk about Hunter!
Presidential debates are tradition, not law, but this unprecedented scrapping of a proper face-to-face debate format screamed one thing: cowardice. Joe Biden is too dirty, too corrupt, too treasonous, too embarrassed and too far gone with dementia to face President Trump in debate. COVID was just a pathetic excuse. Don't insult my intelligence!
Talking logically about Truth in the face of the hypocrisy and bald-faced lies of the Liberals is as futile as trying to have a logical discussion with an insane person.
The Left knows the truth just as well as we Conservatives do. It must be a special kind of Hell for them to continue to support Joe, in spite of everything, while attacking our good president.
They should be ashamed of themselves and frankly, I wouldn't want to be facing their Eternity. As Helene Hanff said so pithily in 84 Charing Cross Road: "They'll burn for it, mark my words."

I am not so sure the Liberals actually do know the truth at all. They are so deluded their minds have become captive to their own biases. So they surround themselves with like minded delusionally biased people who confirm their delusions. It probably is a spiritual problem.
Any skilled cross-examiner knows if you act like a jerk you will simply generate sympathy for the witness and damage your own case. But these J-School idiots wouldn’t understand this. They’re driving outside their lane.
They’re all pathetic, whining, and hateful... and so is the viewer — generally. So I suppose there’s no downside to having some fun.

So, that's how you win voters? That's how he wins the election? Trump needs to be connecting with undecided voters, not arguing with some shrill jackass that is not on the ballot. The entire purpose of a town hall is to connect with voters. Despite the title, this was not a town hall.

I'd guess with 18 days left, very few still have no clue who their voting for. And it's not so much as to win new voters as it is for Trump set the record straight against an onslaught of 24/7 biased lying media. He's very effective at that.

You nailed it. People are missing the point. The question everyone needs to ask is: “Did President Trump lose any voters with Town Hall?” He is super, super smart and should do these every night. Because the inverse question needs to be answered: “Did he win anyone over?”
His message and accomplishments are never going to be seen by the 2-3% of the people he must persuade. Rallies are a get out the vote effort but he must win over others and that will not happen just talking to people who will crawl over glass to vote for him.
Did he win over .25% last night? If so, have one every night before election and win in a landslide. He has to go into the Den to find just a handful of people. He is not speaking to you or me at these.
Also... he is a master of concise messages. It may just be one sentence he says that gets him thousands of votes. The dumbest thing NBC did was give him 30 seconds at the end to use many short sentences and end on his terms/tone. He may have picked up 100,000s of voters in 30 seconds.
Trump is really bad when interviewed by “friendly” hosts. He is “fighting” for us and should not avoid The Ring. Less rallies. more of these wins him second term.

Joe Biden obviously had the answers to his Town Hall beforehand...yet he still refused to apologize for his “You ain’t Black” comment.
The OBVIOUS rule of the Biden Town Hall was “Thou Shalt Not Interrupt...or he’ll fall to pieces.” George was just a warm body in a chair. That’s it!
