Morning Joe devoted today's opening segment to urging Democrat voters not to get "complacent." Joe Scarborough and Kasie Hunt argued that there are troubling signs that President Trump might have hidden strength, and that we could be in for a repeat of 2016 if Democrats get complacent.
They were largely riffing off a Thomas Edsall column in the New York Times, "Biden Is Not Out of the Woods." Edsall's point is that there is under-the-rader Trump strength in certain demographics, and in particular that many more Republicans than Democrats have registered in recent months in battleground states.

I’ve been sensing anxiety from the talking heads towards their own democrat-decision-makers. CNN’s Tapper, Blitzer, NYT’s, this and others showing their stress.
To think this putz was a Republican rep at one time.

The left remembers 2016. They’ve lived by its consequences for four years, and we’ve all suffered from it (impeachment being one such punishment). I actually think they believe they’re leading the race by a lot, and they want to go for the kill (take the WH, House, and Senate). They must be certain of a MASSIVE voter fraud effort coming.
No they’re not. Step out from behind the polls because Biden has no actual physical support anywhere. 30,000 car parade in Miami within the last week for Trump.
Ten thousand or more showing up at each of his rallies across the country including Minnesota.
Online viewership in the tens of thousands for each rally. Biden will lose because his support is an illusion.
Starting to see Dem anxiety and biting each other: Jake Tapper with Biden’s com. dir., Blitzer with Pelosi, NYT’s story last night, now Scarborough, even Biden admitting Trump could win because of support not showing up in polls.
If this were a fair election, Trump would hit 350 EVs without much effort. Right now, I don't see him obtaining his 2016 total.

You’re right. Vote fraud and ballot harvesting is the ONLY way they are going to win. I am starting to understand that more and more.
Marginal Trump supporters from 2016 are not staying staying on the side lines this year.
The democrats have zero enthusiasm for Biden in 2020.
The only energizing component they can work with is Trump hate.
Negative motivation never works as well as positive motivation unless people legitimately expect the perceived consequences to be both lasting but more importantly immediate.
While I know that a lot of democrats have been drinking the poison koolaid for four years, I don’t think many of them honestly believe it’s all some existential threat.
I except a lot more to stay home than they do.
On the Trump side we have people just as complacent as the Dems, if not more, claiming it’s already a done deal for Trump.
On election day we’ll see which side bought that message hook, line & sinker and figured they could stay home since their candidate will have a massive victory anyway, no matter what.
They’re scalping their own election day vote. That’s why WHO has reversed their take on lockdowns this week. It’s killing their college voting numbers/programs. Voter fraud will not work. Trump is having between 11 and 15% people at his rallies that did not vote in 2016.
Simultaneously, around 12% -15% Dems showing up at his rallies. NC just announced 37,000 black voters became independents. Trump will win.

There is no doubt Trump is going to win... this narrative he is losing is NONSENSE... in 2016, you could forgive them for this sort of behavior, because he was the outsider, a long shot etc etc. Hillary winning would have been counter historical trends, but still not seeing what was going on last cycle you could forgive.
This cycle, there is no excuse, other than they honestly want to lie.
The attempt to narrate that Biden is on the cusp of winning the White House with a margin that would be equivalent of Nixon’s or Reagan’s Re-elections is idiotic on its face.
Only people who live in the bubbles of the coastal cities, and just echo their beliefs to one another could remotely believe that kind of crap.
It’s a lie, a flat out lie.
He’s more nervous than if they reopened the cold case file on the dead intern.
