These polls are designed to serve three purposes, and accuracy is not one of them. I’m not saying some couldn’t be accurate, I’m saying they’re not designed to be accurate and it is extremely unlikely that they are.
Purpose number one, to discourage Trump voters
Purpose number two, to encourage Biden voters
Purpose number three (and this is the big one), to lay the groundwork for delegitimizing a Trump victory. If Biden is so far ahead in the polls and losses it could only be because of Republican fraud.
