Well, this was outrageous! Senator Leahy Accuses Judge Amy Coney Barrett of Destroying Healthcare in the US before she has even voted on the issue. Leahy also accused Barrett of hurting women and gays. Again, she is not even on the court yet!
And for some reason he brought out a photo of Smokey the Bear… So is Amy Comey Barrett an arsonist, too?

I hate these types of hearings. If anything is ever reformed it should be congressional hearings. All they do is grandstand and make statements. The purpose of the hearings is to find out information. It should be restricted to questions and answers. (And not televised!Maybe just audio)
Are you sure? The final kavenaugh vote was October 6th and a month later we lost the house. Not sure if democrats are hoping for a similar outcome. I understand the senate runs the Supreme Court nomination process. But if the American people were pissed at the democrats for the zoo, they sure didn’t prove it.
