it is dehumanizing if it causes OTHERS to treat you as less than human without full human rights.
If you FEEL dehumanized then stop letting them make you feel that way. Some people FEEL safe when they’re really not and they can FEEL unsafe when they really are safe.
Hitler and Himmler dehumanized the Jews. American POW’s were dehumanized by their North Vietnamese captors...This isn’t one of those things.
