Nobody’s building coal-fired power plants in the U.S. because natural gas is so cheap.

Electricity-generating plants aren’t a problem. We can sequester the CO2. That is, capture the CO2 and then send the CO2 deep into the earth, even use the CO2 to frack oil and gas fields.

The beauty of using CO2 from electrical plants to frack is that the cost of the process pays for itself in new supplies of energy. This makes sense regardless of climate change.

So, we can get all the electricity we ever want from coal, for hundreds of years even. We have so much coal!

Cars and other modes of transportation are another thing. Electric cars don’t work well enough. The batteries are heavy and expensive, and they can’t be recycled. Sorry. Electric cars aren’t the answer.

But we have an answer for transportation: trees. We can use trees to pull the CO2 out of the atmosphere, that our cars, trucks, trains, planes, ships, etc., put in.

The beauty of trees is that regardless of global warming, trees make sense. We can reverse the spread of deserts in the world even without bringing in water, by planting trees. And, if we bring in water, the effects would be greater. The deserts in Africa, Australia, the Gobi desert in China, and our own southwest can all be reclaimed for grazing land, if we plant trees.

Any way, carbon sequestration and trees is how Boris Johnson gets the U.K. carbon neutral; and, it’s how we can. We can take the climate change issue off the table. We don’t have to collapse our economy or reduce our standard of living or have to deal with car batteries, wind turbine blades or solar panels that cannot be recycled.

He was actually saying that O'biden's policies have made it a certainty that no Coal Fired or Oil Fired plants will be built in America ever.   He did not say "if he wins."   He was claiming that they had already made it a fact in perpetuity.   As if to say to President Trump, you will never do it.

Biden should be asked what will be used to power all of those electric cars he wants. California can’t even keep the lights on now.

But the coal miners daughter from Stratton would not be where he is today if he did not pander to big coal and oil in the past. Like he said last night, HE is the Democratic Party and what HE says what the platform is. Own it (new tag), Droopy Eyed Biden

The debate was a crap show, but the Trump campaign got more sound bites they can use in their commercials than the Biden campaign did IMHO.

More “words of wisdom” from Biden. If he really knew anything about the “renewable energy” he’d avoid talking about it. Plenty of knowledge about it that’s available out there & you’d think these “educated” folks would read it.
