A proud Boys rally and simultaneous demonstrations opposing it placed the city on high alert Saturday as the events unfolded. But there were no large clashes between dueling protesters or with police as of 9 p.m. and participants in the various events disbanded hours earlier.
But as the Proud Boys went home peacefully the Antifa/BLM rioters went downtown and continue with looting and burning.
Law enforcement declared an unlawful assembly late Saturday, forcing protesters from downtown Portland, Oregon, and making several arrests.
Unlawful assembly was announced just before midnight by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Images showed protesters crowded in and around a park near the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse — the same courthouse that had been the scene of nightly unrest over the summer. A protester was seen burning an American flag. Video below:
Earlier, protesters had shot fireworks at police. A video posted online showed officers warn that protesters who hurl projectiles will be subject to arrest. Video below:
Several arrests were made, according to reporters at the scene, but a specific number was not immediately available.
There was one “George Floyd” situation where a an Antifa rioter was arrested and started screaming “I can’t breathe”

That’s been a trend lately. That, and flopping around like they’re having a seizure.
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler issued a statement after the events wound down championing the law enforcement response, saying the “largely peaceful” events were “testimony to the collaborative planning and preparation Portland Police did with our local, state and federal partners.
But he should wait and see this video where arrested Antifa rioters escape a police van and run away and into the riots once again.

The German Polizei have a great remedy for that. When they meet a hysteric, they are authorized to order paramedics to give them a shot of Valium. It is truly an anti-freakout, anti-violence drug. You just *can’t* work up any kind of emotion on Valium.
The police should quietly carry a palm buzzer sized auto injector with them. Just grab their arm and within seconds they just *can’t* be a nuisance anymore. They may not even be aware they got an injection.
Does anybody think it may just be possible that Oregon and Washington and New York flip red? There may be less fraud there because they won’t be expecting it

this one is not the first since Mr. Floyd. It seems to be a standard tactic now, probably it is part of the training of the troops. It is supposed to accomplish two things. striking fear into the arresting officers and gaining instant sympathy from viewers and the press.
Yeah that sounds very peaceful except for all the collateral damage, but then most of the places are in the process of urban renewal anyway. AGM-114R9Xs would be nice for when they leave the city on the way to the airport - Antifa salami

Garner is a terrible example to use. No way he should have been arrested, and the use of force was completely unjustified.
That may be true in his case, but the point is the act was copped by every other miscreant whether justified or not.
