I had never heard of the term “lid” used in the context of political campaigns until just recently. And now it seems we hear it just about every day.
And why does Kamala seem to have lid days too? Even if Joe is older and less energetic, why isn’t his younger presumeably more energetic running mate out there every day?
Do these Democrats want to win this election? Do they just expect the media to do their campaigning for them? Do they know something we don’t know, about counting votes and how that will play out in their favor?
This campaign year seems odd in some ways, and not just because of the virus.

The Democrats are acting like they know the fix is in. All they need to do is to manufacture votes in Detroit, Milwaukee and Philadelphia and that’s the Election right there
Kamala is usually drunk out of her mind by 10am. A hard-core alcoholic can do fine in the Senate, which seems to be designed for that kind of personality, but campaigning as VP isn't. She could barely function in the presidential primaries.

Probably because the more that people see her the less they like her.
They Democrats don’t want to highlight her “woke” identity politics.
If enough voters realize what she supports and that she will certainly end up being President the chances of the Harris-Biden ticket winning drop.

The Democrats do not believe that they can win the election. Their strategy is to cheat enough that they can claim victory.
Fake polls prepare the ground. Make people think either that that Biden is in the lead or that the election will be close.
Mail-in voting will be a key part of the process, in addition to their usual and traditional methods of vote fraud.
