"New York Times" columnist Thomas Friedman said in an interview with CNN host Anderson Cooper on Thursday that if you are not frightened right now, you are not paying attention.
"It's terrifying because the Republican Party has become basically a political brothel, that rents itself out by the night to ever will energize its base," Friedman told Cooper. "Whether it was Sarah Palin or the Tea Party, and now Trump. This is a party that went into its convention with no platform. No platform. Basically said whatever Trump wants, we want."

The same guy, you know, who said if the Supreme Court situation that that the Republicans ran through before repeated again, he wouldn't be for it. There's only one tool we have, but it is a tool that can work, and that is to overwhelmingly vote. ..... I will cast my vote for Joe Biden.

T. Friedman is having the vapors because he *will have to* cover a Civil War. Someone I forget is convinced the progs can secede and take everything but the Deep South and the Plains with them (!!). Foreign Policy magazine thinks SloJoke is more of a nationalist than Trump and is advising a *pivot* to nationalism (now with more liberal values!!) in the final 5 weeks of the campaign, admitting nationalism is hardwired into the human psyche.
This is beyond delusion.
They believe people will just passively watch a CWII on their TVs, so the poor journo will be *forced* to cover the ick, because ratings). But the other prog apparently believes the losing progs own most of the states (so: then why not just have a nice normal election they will win walking away and forget all the threats and bluster?) and can just go their own way, leaving a few hapless retards with no natural resources to founder here and there as isolated islands in a happily united prog republic, which will abscond with territory and power and remain uncontested, while the ‘prestigious’ magazine that uses the name Foreign Policy advises the ‘true’ nationalist to reveal his nationalism, because Trump’s nationalism is fake and the voters will be pleased to follow the new revelation because ....something, something.

I am not going to bother with the effort to research but I’m wondering about Mr Friedman’s past comments on Bush’43. I will wager that he probably castigated HIM with equal alarmism, just like the “boy crying WOLF!” Like the scorpion being carried across the stream, it is their nature!

I have noticed many people talking about going toe to toe with Antifa as if those people need to be defeated for the win.

I saw seven Biden signs and three Trump signs this morning in an area that has traditionally been Republican.
“Free stuff” always wins out.
They “shudder at four more years” but they refuse to look in the mirror to see the true cause of the unrest.
What is our side’s strategy? How do we mobilize soldiers? What weapons do we have? What will victory look like? How do we secure peace in a post-victory world?
He is correct. We are at war. He doesn’t see he is on the enemy side.
