Interesting that Pence isn’t mentioned even one time.

Not generally a big fan of political dynasties, but in this case, I think Jr, would be an excellent candidate and POTUS. And wed have the added advantage of watching the left lose their shite for yet another 4 years (if not 8).

Only three sitting US Senators have been elected President, and all three were bad.
This is for a simple reason. The President is the Chief EXECUTIVE. The main qualification for being a US Senator is being a bullshit artist.
These two roles - executive and BS artist - just don’t mix.

Maybe political dynasties aren't such a good idea in America. The track record of Presidents who were direct descendants of another President isn't encouraging (John Quincy Adams, Benjamin Harrison, George Walker Bush).
I like both of Trump's sons who appear from time to time on TV, but for either of them to succeed Donald J. Trump in 2024 wouldn't be a good idea...and would probably result in a defeat. After a few terms have intervened, perhaps.
What about Mike Pompeo in 2024?

The GOPe is very much looking ahead. They are going to push Nikki Haley, so, get ready for wars in the Middle East, open borders and tax cuts. That said, they could still go with Romney again, there’s probably another Bush, and Bob Dole is still alive. None of those are beyond their “wisdom.”

If he wins re-election in 2022 then, yes, a strong choice.

Nikki Haley will never be president. She will get zero electoral votes in the south. She has the unique ability to turn an entire block of red states to blue.

I read the article and discovered at the end of it that the guy was promoting Nikki Haley as the successor to Trump. My jaw dropped immediately! I thought WTF over!?! This guy couldn’t be more wrong if he fell off a cliff!

No, he isn't. And there's a reason for that - he one of the lifers and career politicians Rush was talking about. If the GOP hands the nomination to Pence in 2024 with no options, we're back on the loser carousel that McCain and Romney had us on. If there's one thing we know, it's that the GOP establishment and its choices lose.
