I wish Lin Wood could have counselled him...in more ways than one. The video of the bar owner at the end, while at the Trump inauguration...wow, seemed like a very decent guy. I’m sorry his life was ruined. I’m sorry what was foisted upon him.
From the video it is clear that Mr. Gardner was a true gentleman and a genuinely nice individual. The prosecutor and judge in the case are themselves murderers and they have gravely wounded the reputation of their institution. No man should ever be placed in such an unjust situation by such corrupt public officials. A lesser man than Jake Gardner would have taken them with him. I fear that soon there won't be any men left with Mr. Gardner's grace and self-restraint.
In turn, we must tell them: “Nice taxpayer-supported department you got there. Be a shame if nobody paid any, this year.”
If they can’t impose gun control by outlawing the tools, they’ll impose it by outlawing the acts.

These days/season/years will be trials and tribulations. We must be strong, stand firm even as injustice trys to ruin our lives.
God will help fight our battles as we make wise choices in midst of our adversities. A pastor I listen to preaching on this lately. We are in battle, be readyto fight as God would have us and know God wins :)
who’s to say any possible sentence if he even was convicted wouldn’t be reduced? or overturned based on truth after wrongful conviction? maybe awarded monies due to whole situation? Did God have greater purpose for this man to live?
Too many people today not mentally ready for battle. We have had it too easy in the USofA, and i speak as one who has lost or had to give up just about everything more than once due to situations at times. I know God provides and helps each of us through, but there are moments it seems it’d be easier to give up.
We’d have no USA if our forefathers gave up at revolution, or any moment since then.
We’re in a large forest in the middle of a huge densely populated county. From the street to my front door its 200 feet though forest.
If a mob shows up quite a few would regret it. I know my land. Come on America!

You should see the Omaha World Herald article today. TALK ABOUT SLANTED. Then dozens of pictures of the “Justice for James” stuff. The article insinuates that Gardner was just some kind of paranoid mental case. It is disgusting.
I am disgusted.
And I cannot type what I am thinking should be done.
It’s far worse than that.
You are assuming:
1. That he wouldn’t be killed in prison should he unaccountably be found guilty.
2. That the Left would leave his friends and family alone.
3. That the police would defend his friends and family against the Left.
4. That any of the aforementioned friends and family that survive by attempting to defend themselves won’t get the same treatment.
Big assumptions. And with the exception of number 1, quite wrong. Gardner figured out what that meant - his life was over the second the DA caved and sent the case to the Grand Jury. His family will be attacked and he will be in jail where he can’t defend them. His family will starve because the Left will ensure they can’t get or hold a job. All because of what he did. Not really much other way out except to suicide and *hope* the Leftist mobs will accept that as enough (they won’t.)
What a lot of older people here who think that “well, just shoot a looter or rioter and the problem is over” or “let’s just hickory shower them and it’ll be good” is just how much has changed. You will be identified (because you’re not masking and facial recognition software is just that good now), you will be doxxed, your friends and family will be doxxed and the Left will attack them. You, your family and friends will lose your jobs or have your businesses destroyed, will not be able to get another job and may even be denied government benefits. You will be in jail. Anyone attempting to defend themselves will also be in jail. The attacks will persist.
Welcome to cancel culture.
The sentence isn’t the problem.
Our forefathers were able to send their families away out of the line of fire. You can’t do that today.
