Almost wish i had it so i could cancel it.
I cancelled last week...this was the straw that broke the camel’s back. It was increasingly just filling up with left wing crap and what wasn’t left wing crap could be found elsewhere.
According to Wiki, Netflix shares (as of 2017) were mainly held by institutional investors, including Capital Group Companies, The Vanguard Group, BlackRock and others. I don’t think that’s changed (unless I missed it).
I think you mean YouTube.
My beef with Netflix is their alliance with the Obamas. And now with Meghan Markel and that Prince guy.
They don’t even try to balance it out.
Yup. Sorry.
I cancelled Netflix last week. Looking for a replacement right now it looks like I will go with Disney but I haven’t yet.
I was watching the Netflix movie The Old Guard about a group of Wolverine-like characters who cant be killed because they heal back up real quick. It was 3 dudes and a chick. She has her hair all short except the part that is long enough to always be covering one eye. Anyway it didnt take half an hour to find out that 2 of the dudes were partners. I dont really care what people do in their private lives. There should not be laws about that. But is it really necessary to inject sexuality into every damn thing? I dont lime love scenes either and I am no fan of chick flicks. It just seems like this kind of show would be something that teenage nerds would like and I think the sexual parts are intended to normalize the concept of male male love. Its really about sex not about love.
“If I had Netflix I would cancel it.”
you can sign up for a 30 day trial just to cancel. Doesn’t mean you have to watch anything.
I use to have it when they sent DVDs out and I could enjoy the obscure movies that you couldn’t find anywhere else.
Once they started producing their own garbage I cancelled.
The Umbrella Academy is another comic book adaptation that teenage nerds would like. Klaus is gay and has a love story. A Series of Unfortunate Events has the guy who owns the Miserable Mill as a gay couple. Neil Patrick Harris is gay IRL, he plays Count Olaf. That stupid show with Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin is about 2 women who became best friends after their husbands got together in an intimate and permanent way, billed as a comedy but not even remotely funny except in an NPR kind of way. It goes on and on. The new quota system.
We share an account with two of our grown kids.
We’re canceling. I just had a live chat with some Netflix guy. I said “give me a reason not to cancel.” He responded with their boilerplate Cuties is an important award winning film about the dangers of oversexualization of girls (By oversexualizing them I guess) and he encouraged me to watch it.
No chance.
We will be canceling this week.
The fact that you share an account with two adult children tells me that they might lose you, but they will pick up two other customers. They dont care about you. Or me.
Kids are dropping too
Get on roku. I hear peacock is good.
They will go back. This whole thing will blow over.
The heat is on them as most of the left are changes will happen.
Facebook first target.
