The Black Lives Matter Movement Needs to Die

My patience has run out. As the country has been engulfed by rioting, looting, and violence since mid-summer, I’ve tried to couch my criticisms of the Black Lives Matter movement in ways that show grace to those who I truly feel are discussing issues in good faith. And while I’ve always known the actual BLM organization was a dumpster fire, I knew there were others who simply considered themselves part of a broader, more positive path that paralleled some aspects, but didn’t buy into everything BLM espoused.

I can’t make that distinction anymore. BLM has lost that right with their latest behavior, if they already hadn’t long before.

RedState covered some of their latest antics this morning, which occurred after two police officers were shot in cold blood in Los Angeles.

To say this is disgusting behavior doesn’t begin to describe it. Further, to try to ascribe this to only the worst parts of the BLM movement is also gaslighting at this point. That a movement would “only” have 7% of it’s protests turn violent is not something celebrate. It’s something to be disgusted by. Past that, many BLM protests devolve into gross, disturbing rhetoric even when the violence doesn’t start. When a BLM leader in D.C. started riffing on killing cops a few week ago, that may not have been violent, but it was equally disturbing.

I’m sick of the excuses. I’m sick of being told that I must make distinctions and give the benefit of the doubt to a movement that doesn’t deserve it, nor would such treatment be given to any other movement that has so abused it’s influence.

Here’s my contention. There’s nothing good coming from BLM. Nothing at all. Is the country a better place since their uprising? No, it’s only gotten much worse. In...

When BLM started within a few months a black ex-military sniper assassinated 5 white cops in Dallas at a BLM event.

Later that year a Cleveland Browns rookie running back tweeted out BLM thug slitting the throat of a white cop.

And all that has transpired in 2020. Trump needs to continuously shine the spotlight on BLM, Antifa, Democrap donors and staffers, and Rat govs/da’s/mayors direct planning and appeasement of BLM every day for next two months.

I woke up this morning and realized I had a nest of Termites hiding in the background and they were starting to spread. I thought I would try and bargain with them, but all they want is to destroy my house. I then tried to reason with them and it did no good, they just want to destroy my house. I considered trying to re-educate them but I can’t get them to listen to me or even consider such a thing. I tried to compromise with them by giving them fresh wood shavings to eat instead of my house, but that didn’t work either. They still demand to destroy my house.

What really needs to happen is people just continue on cheering for the equivalent of the KKK for blacks. The PLAYERS OF THE NFL, fully support the organization with their money, their time and their hearts. They need to wear this mark for the rest of their lives.

ALL lives matter, to say (_______) fill in the blank, LIVES MATTER IS RACIST and has no place in a Free Society. Those who support them, are by definition racist.

This particular shooting has REALLY galvanized public opinion. It's in a huge media market, for one reason, so the word got out fast, and then President Trump tweeted about it.

I don't know how it's possible for the NFL to do its kneeling thing for BLM while this reality is going on.

Many of us believe in a merit based society and that things like 9-11 are why we stand for our national anthem and salute the American Flag. We want politics out of sports and believe that protests are welcome but they should take place off the field. We believe that bad cops should be held accountable just as much as anyone else does. We hate discrimination of any kind, towards any person, regardless of color.

If social justice warriors want to do something more effective to combat bad policing, why don’t more of them try to become police officers and influence the system that way? Become a beat cop in the most crime ridden neighborhoods in say Chicago, New York or Los Angeles? Be the cop who does not use a gun to defend him or herself unless you are 100% certain your own death is a fraction of a second away if you don’t? Try to influence the system from within.

For whites that feel burdened by white privilege, why not assign a monetary value to that privilege and release the burden? If you feel that your privilege makes you, say 25% better off than a black person, then give 25% of your net worth to needy black families. Set aside 25% of your earnings in the future for the same purpose. Perhaps go door to door with a bag of cash throughout poor neighborhoods knocking on doors. If the resident is black, give them some portion of the cash and move on to the next residence, give them some cash, and so on and so on. The benefit and satisfaction will be instant, tangible and real.

Efforts to affect the change many say they want would be much more effective if they lead by example in such ways. Most importantly, these things can be done in a way that does not demand that other people take action inconsistent with their own values and principles.

Fundamentally BLM is a marketing campaign, to dupe those who think little or not at all, that to properly virtue-signal you must support BLM.
