And consider that an airport is not a fun place. It’s not like a venue in a city where people (at least before Covid) could go to restaurants, get a room at hoteland maybe walk to the rally or take a shuttle, camp out on the sidewalk, and buy lots of trinkets and food from vendors.
And yesterday was warm and muggy. Not a fun time on airport concrete.
And people came anyway — that’s the important part.
