Only a fool wishes for trouble to find them, or goes out looking for trouble.
If anyone comes to where I am and tries to start trouble, I have no doubt that my local police will make quick work of them. I’m very thankful to live in a place that actually supports our police and our police are quite good at keeping the peace.
People need to understand that violence isn’t a toy to be played with. It is a terrible tool for terrible situations which you cannot avoid. If you’re truly forced into using it, use it quickly and overwhelmingly. But if you can avoid being in such a situation, it’s always in your best interest to do so. Violent situations are inherently unpredictable and may not turn out as you might envision in your mind. The consequences during and after are very rarely pleasant.
Yesh well my area’s resume is short. There are a lot of gangsters.
I didn’t watch the video, I don’t have to stomach to lose any more of our guys to prison or death, but I did read that Aaron D was a key Proud Boy member. Not just a run of the mill Trump supporter.
This threat to their personal safety is probably not going to make swing voters happy.
I didn’t say that I was hoping for it. Preparing, yes, but not hoping. The best way to avoid a violent confrontation is to be somewhere else when it happens.
