I’m happy to see the NBA as the canary in the coal mine. Maybe they’ll crash before the NFL is similarly consumed .

If the advertisement provision lasts, the owners will resist, lose money, cost the players lots of money now and in the future. (which is OK with me, it’s their money.)

A lesson will be learned eventually; Politics kills sports. How long it takes , ?

Politics is destroying America’s # 1 or # 2 brand—college football—with liberal governors and university presidents in the BIG10 reveling that they’ve canceled the ‘20 season. Liberal govs in PA, MI, IL, WI are at odds with all the coaches and players who want to play.

Legal action has them reconsidering, and realizing they’ve made a mistake, but it’s clear its politically motivated to infuriate fans and then shove the blame onto DjT. The liberal mucky-mucks at west coast PAC 12 colleges have genuflected to the Big10’s wishes.

It’s backfiring, like most liberal strategies backfire.
