My theory it’s a mish-mash of what would have been considered pariahs of yesteryear. Single-mom raised kids seem to form the front line, especially the daddy-less unattractive gals. Mix in urban ferals right outa the chute (born in hopeless circumstances) the skinny white faggy white boys who don’t know what a Phillips is find hip...and you have a bunch of people who were never going to do shit in the first place. Any marker of success-a car, a store, a monument will enrage their envy like with filthy jihadists...search and destroy. Or maybe they’re just going through a phase like gov. Kate Brown of Oregon seems to think (not really...she hates this country/white men)

The kid was brave, but alone with no security or anybody to watch his back. Too bad. Small teams would work a lot better, or just staying on one property and defending it entirely, from a defensible position. I’ve seen Kenosha video of guys on roofs with rifles with green aiming lasers, lasing Antifas who get too close. You don’t need to wait for a building to burn to shoot an arsonist, during arson riots. It’s one of the exceptions where preemptive self defense is allowed. Of course tactics will evolve as escalation continues, but in Kenosha the other night, that kid needed to be at least paired up. His spirit was strong but his plan was lacking. And as far as mobs last night marching through residential areas to wake people up, a progression from bird shot to turkey shot and up will take the fun out of it fast. Not from your own home, of course, but that’s why folks need to thoroughly recon their own areas for concealed night routes etc. With a pump or double barrel shotgun, you can eject the shells into your own hand.

The only thing I’m not clear about is after he ran over to where the rioters began destroying cars in the car lot...did he simply shoot him in the head ...or did the rioter threaten him or attack him or both?
I’m sure me being female has everything to do with my thoughts about this.
I think of his life going forward - the job applications, any background checks...”have you ever been arrested - please explain” etc. He’ll have these deaths on his head his entire life and he wasn’t a soldier in a war so his judgement will come into question. Maybe his age will work out to his benefit if all things are considered. He’s lucky that the guys who are dead had a bad past. But I wouldn’t have wanted my son in this situation. At least there is a strong case for self-defense so hopefully he’ll escape the worst of the charges.
It would have been an entirely different story if he were defending lives that were endangered. I’d kill anyone threatening me or other lives without remorse.
I thought he had an earlier encounter with Antifa at another location prior to being chased by molotov guy who he shot in the head. But I may be wrong about that.
Here’s my understanding of the sequence:
1) Rittenhouse is standing guard at the property/business
2) He sees small group of Antifa destroying cars and decides to leave his position and confront them
3) When he arrives they attack him, possibly hit him with a pipe, and he possibly fires shots or warning shots; and he might have fired at them as they fled
4) He moves to another location where he encounters a different Antifa group that includes molotov guy (bald, red shirt); molotov guy chases him, throws the object, and is subsequently shot in the head
5) He runs and is pursued by several Antifa; he trips and falls and is attacked by skateboard guy and medic guy, both of whom he shoots
It’s possible I’m mistaken and the encounters beginning at 2) and 4) are actually the same encounter with the same group of Antifa. I hope I am mistaken because it would simplify things and mean fewer questions about his initial actions.
As for what led to the head shot, that was in response to molotov guy chasing him and throwing the object, correct? The question seems to be what led molotov guy to chase him. Was there an enounter/confrontation, and if so, what was that like.
Knowing what has come ou since the shooting I would be proud if Kyle was my son.
He regrets not emptying the magazine sooner.
And what if it had gone the other way...which could have easily happened....would it have been worth losing your son?
As it turns out Kyle was lucky and a decent shot but lots of cops are good shots also and don’t make it through confrontations with armed maniacs.
Fear if life is not living. There are some things worse than dying and arrest.
So then yes,...it would have been worth it to you to lose your 17 year old son to protect buildings in Kenosha.
