November will decide the fate of economic bailouts in blue states

The coronavirus exposed a debilitating and growing disease inherent in the management of many state capitals. Blue states, run with years of reckless spending and unbalanced taxation, now must swallow the bitter pill of three options: Slash spending, declare bankruptcy, or beg for trillions in federal bailouts. As the economic damage of the virus becomes more apparent, a defining political debate of 2021 will be how Congress and the White House will react.

By the beginning of 2020, several left-leaning states were already in severe fiscal trouble after years of racking up unfunded pension liabilities and bloated public payrolls. Despite New York’s $6 billion budget deficit, nearly 300,000 public employees and retirees earned six figures. Illinois was facing a $1.3 billion budget deficit (now over quadruple that), while a family of four owed $76,000 in pension liabilities and more than 100,000 public employees and retirees in the state earned six figures. In California, a $54 billion budget deficit and $1 trillion unfunded pension liability didn’t stop Sacramento from paying more than 340,000 government employees six-figure salaries.

What a load of shite-— VOTE for your federal bailout— and put in the a@@holes who spent down your state budgets such that you are bankrupt and unable to support your State.

That’s right vote for the GET’s me Dats. So they can VOTE YOU money..

The end of our country. See : de Tocqueville on this subject, as well as Thomas Jefferson.

I live in southern Illinois. The two principals my children has in high school are both retired at $150K plus. The superintendent they had is retired at $200K plus. These numbers go up 3 percent per year minimum. The principals both spiked there salary by assigning themselves extra duties related to school construction projects the last couple years before they retired. These extra duties hiked their pay about $20K per year.

Stay with me on this.

Blue state spends money on buying votes, graft and corruption. Ignores infrastructure, police, fire, first responders. Public utilities follow suit with capacity being outpaced by demand. More and more crimes are ignored with prosecutors not bringing criminals to trial and releasing those who are arrested. The productive class decides enough is enough and leaves the city or state in question. The liberal politicians realize that they have dug themselves into a hole they cannot get out of. Their solution, allow for rioting and the destruction of what is remaining. The blame for decades of incompetence and mismanagement is then shifted to the actions occurring over a few months.

See! It’s not our fault, and we need the help of all the other states that have been responsible to fix our mess.

These liberal states are like a woman planning a divorce. First thing to do is clean out the bank account and max out the credit cards and then slap the husband with the bill.

Nope I say, let ‘em stew in the mess they made. And when they ask for a “Federal” bailout, Trump should respond with, “You mean a bailout from taxpayers from republican states.”

Hey Texas, hey Florida, hey Virginia, hey Pennsylvania, hey Michigan and Wisconsin: take a look, this election is about sending all your money to New York and California so they can spend it on illegals and other stupid causes like replacing cops with social workers.

If you like that idea, you know what to do. Otherwise don't be a moron, vote Trump.
