The Democrat party demanded the economy be destroyed to get Trump (and in order to help dems cover up/continue their corruption).
The Democrats do not care how many are hurt or destroyed in the process.
Keep voting Democrat to finish off the United States of America.

New Yawkers voted for it, so I can’t see how they can legitimately complain. I feel for the literally handful of NYers who did NOT vote for it, however.
New York cannot be revived. Many of its wealthiest have fled. Many have bought houses elsewhere.
I cannot help but think of the Book of Revelation which talks about glittering cities laid waste.
You cannot do this amount of damage to a city and think people will wait forever for things to get better.
The biggest lesson being learned is crowded cities are inherently unhealthy and they are dangerous without extensive policing.

If you buy into the corona virus hysteria . My restaurant has done thousands upon thousands of indoor customers. No covid.
Maybe new yorkers will awaken to their being liberals/leftists/globalists as the road to perdition. Then too...

I worked around lots of liberals for many years. There’s no changing them. They are immune to logic and facts. No matter how bad things get in NYC they will never admit it was their own fault.
How much business would they get in NYC if there were no restrictions?
Probably not as much as they hope for.
Throughout CA half of restaurants are expected to fail and not come back. I suspect similar numbers everywhere else.

Yeah more future employees for warehouses and other demeaning minimum wage manual labor jobs. One freeper suggested farm labor and meat rendering plants.
Take away service jobs and all we have left as a society are extremely low-paying blue-collar work that Mexicans and other immigrants took and skilled blue-collar labor that takes decades to skill up to earn a decent wage.
The skilled white-collar jobs we already decided to give to Indians, Chinese and other foreign trash “skilled” labor.
No fever, no viral load to expel.
