I predicted a very long time ago that Biden would not be the Democrat’s nominee. He is a place holder. His role was to block any other candidate from getting enough delegates to win.

I am thinking now they are waiting to get the vice president pick and then Biden will back out for health reason leaving the Democrats with a candidate that did not run in any primary nor won any delegates.

In other words, a bait and switch.

I think that's been part of the dem's plan all along...some of them. Other factions may not be particularly enamored of Biden, but fear the Bernie factor. If Biden bows out or removed, the Berniebots will be highly energized to get their man at the top of the ticket, and there will be hell to pay if he is not.

The most recent rumor is Hillary/Bloomberg, in which Bloomers will spend that Billon he promised.

Just suppose:

Biden wins and accepts the nomination but is incapacitated before the election. It’s becoming more likely every day. Whom do Ds insert at that point ? The number 2 ? Obie’s preferred candidate ?

Would a voting public —other than THE ONE’s devotees—accept the switch ?

I’d say zero Rs, very few Is, and not all the Ds.

Ds have big trouble with Biden, no matter if he stays, or if he goes.
