Wondering what will happen to those who live in cities like that & can’t immediately afford to move? That is so brain dead. It reminds me of a little advice given on a card being passed around when I was a high school student. The idea was for a boy to pass it to a girl. the card read something like this: “ the man who hands you this card is an official air raid warden. Do not be alarmed, but do exactly as he instructs. Get on the floor or ground & lie flat on your back. Do not resist him,as he will not harm you, but do exactly as he tells you.” I doubt that anybody really fell for it.
>>be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet if approached by robbers, and do not argue or fight with the criminal. Do as they say.<<
And to make their point, cops are doing just that.
However it's declining and the latest figures are not in yet. I bet they'll go down due to that CHOP thing and the de-funding of police and the idiotic decisions of the city council; but then, Seattle is a liberal utopia.
This is just an opinion, but don’t pi$$ around with a 380. I occasionally put down animals, and tried 380’s and 9mm’s. They are pretty much ineffective at stopping unless a vital organ is hit right away.
A 38 should be the minimum. Preferably a 357 or 45.
For crowds use the Judge or a Governor with the first shot/s being bird shot which will disperse and likely hit several targets with each shot. Successive chambers should be loaded with 45’s or the 4 balls of 4 ott buck. Both the latter will put anything down.
“Robbery PREVENTION Tips?”
Ahmm. . . that’s not really “prevention,” is it? Maybe it is mitigation, but it’s not prevention.
Liberals use words differently than real people. They can make a word mean whatever they want it to mean. Just like Lewis Carroll’s Humpty Dumpty
Yesterday’s radio show added, “Be sure to surrender at least $1500 cash”.
Hasn’t the conventional wisdom always been to not oppose street robbers?
Keith Ellison has also weighed in with advice. For more on that see...

...and scroll down to “Minnesota Part II”.
"Robbery Prevention Tips:
- Be prepared to give up your cell phone and purse/wallet
- Do as they say
If these are "Robbery Prevention Tips", then "Please have your ID and Boarding Pass ready" must be a Flying Prevention Tip.
I think 1.7 is the lala land prediction. It will go lower than that.
Just read read a blurb about Seattle commercial real estate (behind pay wall) 88% decline, 15 billion or so in lost value....
Seattle government, “Raise taxes!”
Well, in that case defund those a$$holes. They’re useless.
If you follow business journal ‘chatter’ for the greater Minneapolis/St Paul area...they say that prices haven’t dropped and the asking prices are being met (at least as of late July).
I think a lot of things have to occur with defunding police or terminating police departments...to create an ‘exit’ mentality.
If you start seeing an increase in house-burglary or cars being stolen...then people will follow with the attitude of leaving metropolitan areas.
Ah, Euro style civil order edicts.
Well, it will work 100% of the time.
If you give the robber your stuff, they can no longer rob you.
Those people are so smart.
Minneapolis:
From 2012 to 2019, real estate prices advanced strongly; however, they have trended down this year.
According to Zillow, in April 2019 median list price/sq. foot peaked at $274. In Jan 2020, median list price/sq. foot fell o $261. This is the latest date for which data is available from this source.
According to NORADA, June 2020 compared to June 2019
Metro area - listings down 15%
Minneapolis - listings down 2%
Metro area - sales down 9%
Minneapolis - sales down 18%
Metro area - inventory down 30%
Minneapolis - inventory down 10%
Metro area - Median price up 5%
Minneapolis - Median price up 3%
Metro area - Average price up 3%
Minneapolis - Average price up 1%
CONCLUSION: Relative to its metro area, supply in Minneapolis is outpacing demand, and prices are soft. However, as of June, the Minneapolis real estate market hasn’t collapsed. The real estate market in Minneapolis is merely poor.

This has shown to be a disastrous method not too long ago if people remember
I own the larger frame pistols and would prefer their stopping power.
But the small Sig .380 provides all the power I need in close up encounters.
I’ve never needed to bring it up to gut level, but its reassuring to know its close by.
