I just informed Sling Blue we will not be watching any pro games, basketball, baseball or football.
There is always the UFC. They have a vocal Trump supporter as a CEO and they were the first sport to get back to “normal” in the pandemic.
Even without the stupidity ratings were going to be crap. Who wants to watch folks play in what is effectively a TV studio with no fans?!?
It literally looks like studio rasslin back in the NWA days on WTBS back into the 80s
Not saying the stupidity didn’t hurt them, but reality NBA without the fans in the stands is boring... same is true of the other sports as well
I think it’s the best development ever, in line with the collapse of the public school system. Maybe now men will focus on their families, and parents will spend more time with their kids. Ever thought of that?
I remember my own Dad spent more time in front of the boob tube watching football than he ever spent getting to know any of us. He and my mother divorced after 9 years. She got tired of his laziness and lack of responsibility. For the remainder of his life, all he did was go to NASCAR games, and watch football on TV. He died an early death. Is this what men want to make of their lives? Get a hobby ...pay attention to your kids and family. Do something to improve your life, the lives of your family, and your community!
Along with it stops the constant boozing and indulging as well. Maybe a lot of men out there will get rid of those beer bellies and start getting back in shape.
Not trying to be overly critical of men or a killjoy, but American men have been focusing on these activities for decades, allowing us to forget what’s truly important. We still need sports, but not this badly.
I have plenty of classic stuff on DVD.

We need to beat the left with their own game. The left is very good at labels, setting the narrative, and shaming.
Anytime I mention any of these leagues, we I call them for what they are:
Anti-american NBA, not the NBA.
Anti-american NFL, not the NFL
Anti-american MLB, not the MLB
Most I talked to agree. Others want to know why I call them by that name.
Eventually some of the owners and or players may re-evaluate their position. And if not, it will still feel good calling them for what they are.
It’s all about branding and the brand.
People watch sports to see Heroes. Heroes dont kneel. Heroes arent victims. No one wants to watch victims play.
If MLB had any sense they’d pull the plug on this travesty. The kneeling players will be paid as agreed whether MLB’s main source of income, ads, tanks or not. They have a perfect out, inclement flu conditions. The blm BS will end after Election Day, just like 2016.

I raised two daughters as a single custodial father. I did not watch TV, I did not date, I did not have a social life, I did not have hobbies. There was no welfare, no child support, and no food stamps in our home. They were my children and my responsibility.
I did have very well behaved daughters who turned into great citizens, who are now well educated with zero student loans, and who, like me, take total responsibility for themselves and their own children.
You can take your attitude about men and put it where it will never get sunburned.
In 1956/57 the overall NBA field goal percentage was 35.9. This year it’s 40.8. There’s lots to complain about in regards to the NBA but I don’t like to see nonsense posted about the game.
They can all sink into the garbage dump of history for all I care.

But the NBA has been kowtowing to Communist China throughout the Hong Kong protests. Put the BLM imaging and kneeling on top of that and it is truly unbearable. I was never a big fan anyway, but this has driven me so far away I’ll never even watch highlights.
