Please Don’t Make Me Risk Getting Covid-19 to Teach Your Child

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Every day when I walk into work as a public-school teacher, I am prepared to take a bullet to save a child. In the age of school shootings, that’s what the job requires. But asking me to return to the classroom amid a pandemic and expose myself and my family to Covid-19 is like asking me to take that bullet home to my own family.

I won’t do it, and you shouldn’t want me to.

She has a choice to refuse to go to work. The school district has a choice to refuse to pay her. Case closed

The risk of dying from covid is about twice that of the flu unless you’re over 70 with preexisting health conditions.

If you don’t want to teach anymore go do something else.

America needs to ALL GET BACK TO WORK & children need to ALL GET BACK TO SCHOOL. Disobey the communist lunatics who say otherwise.

It’s NEVER about the children.

Just ask the Union Leaders.

They will tell you ...the children are not our clients...the teachers are.

So, who is this teacher so concerned with being impacted?
The the child... absolutely not...”Don’t make ME RISK..”.

Greedy, selfish teachers.

We are in the midst of a huge sea change in all public education. “Child care centers” will be the new schools, and those workers will help students with their online “distance education” as phoned in by teachers working from home, as they aren’t unionized. Yet. And then after that child care centers will close too.

This is exactly the conclusion that I came to, also. This is what "they" have wanted for a long time, anyway, because it centralizes control and they can reduce the number of teachers. They're already doing this with virtual schools and it doesn't work very well, but no matter. They'll do it anyway because what they want is to be able to get rich and maybe push their agenda. They don't care about education.
