Tucker Carlson: Americans Feel Undefended And Neglected, Expect A President To Respond To A Crisis
RCP video ^ | 6-26-2020 | Ian Schwartz

Tucker Carlson warned the anti-statue movement "cult" could do irreparable harm to President Trump's presidency and reelection campaign. On Thursday's broadcast of his FOX News show, Carlson challenged viewers to name a single leader in world history that stayed in power after failing to "quell a rebellion."

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: President Trump may lose this election. Unless fundamental facts change soon, it will be tough for him to be reelected. Trump’s loss would mean, just a few months from now, Joe Biden becomes the president. The United States government would fall under the control of the radicals who control Joe Biden. They will remake the country. We know that virtually nobody watching this show wants to hear that. But it’s true. Key people around the president know it. They see the numbers. They’re worried.

At some point in the future, historians will marvel at the fact the president lost ground during a pandemic and then during mass riots. Both crises should have highlighted his strengths. ...

Dear Sir. I have to wonder which news outlet you support. If I were to choose just one program to watch, it would be Tucker Carlson, because he tells it like it is. The truth is often not pretty and Tucker hits all sides. I do not watch propaganda TV at all and I wonder about people who do. I, however, will stand for the Constitution of the United States because it has produced the best nation to have lived in for many generations. I support President Trump and I have witnessed the assaults on him for these years. However, people want someone with power to do something, even if the retired generals do not approve of it. Tucker is a city on a hill to me and I pray he will continue for a long time. I have followed him over the years and he does not change every time the wind blows and he won’t. I sense that plenty of folks out there who religiously watch what is going on, are with me in my admiration for Tucker. At least, I hope so.

I know this is a terrible analogy and I’ll get sh!t for it but Trump reminds me of that scene in downfall where Hitler can hear Soviet artillery approaching Berlin, he moves phantom armies around and gives orders that are ignored.

Some of my friends live and die according to Tucker. I personally think he is full of sheesh. He is a snarky critic and does hit on some good notes but he is always saying the President isn't doing enough. Has Tucker forgotten the march to St. John's church and how he was excoriated for attempting to use the military to quell domestic violence? Remember the Sec. of Defense saying emphatically that the military is not be used against protesters? And his example of the woman calling about protesters swarming her car was ridiculous. What did Tucker want? President Trump to come and save her? The National Guard can't be called in unless the governors request it. Until then it is up to the police force and that state's guard to deal with the rioters.

>> James Mattis was the one who excoriated President Trump and set the tone

Mattis is a politician first. Go ask the Haditha Marines.

Please don’t worship Tucker he’s a bit of an sob.

A BIT?

He actually preened in Vanity Fair, bragging about supposedly singlehandedly getting Trump to take coronavirus seriously.

Tucker Carlson says he felt ‘moral obligation’ to tell Trump to take coronavirus seriously

And then he did a 180, as if he's Paul Revere on the coronavirus tyranny.

Tucker Carlson: We were lied to about coronavirus and the mass lockdowns

He says the right things about a lot of issues, but he's NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

There is a sense of “you are on your own!” but that is coming from all the ambiguity on the Covid situation. There is a good deal of uncertainty there for a lot of people, and uncertainty is bad. It’s just like economics. Trump is in positive territory on the economy which makes this a recoverable situation.

Shrieking lefties are also a form of uncertainty but I think that is feeding off the Covid uncertainty. If everything was cooking along and our economy was operating at full tilt I think most of these folks would slink back to the social science department from whence they came.

It’s only one woman’s opinion but I think the uncertainty surrounding Covid (which is being talked up by the Chinese and the Democrats) is the thing that is hurting Trump right now.

Flynn knew his enemies and should have forced the FBI to go thru proper channels for the interview. Stone and Assange traveled in the media fast lane and are not the full responsibility of Trump. Folks who will not vote at all are dumb as dirt. Trump has accomplished a lot and is all we have. I will vote and it’s for Trump.

Flynn, Stone and Assange need a Presidential Pardon now.

That will give the lefties and their media something to scream about for a while—and it will energize our base.

good lord get a god damn grip.

everyone allowed this stuff to go on for decades and now POTUS is supposed to fix everything in four years with the entire globalist machine working against him?
What exactly can HE do about left wing states and cities allowing people to pull down STATE erected property?

He can’t do anything. If people are too f*cking dumb to understand which party is supporting and promoting this violence then we’re in bigger trouble than anything POTUS can do.

Carlin was right!

“Now, there’s one thing you might have noticed I don’t complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don’t fall out of the sky. They don’t pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It’s what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you’re going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain’t going to do any good; you’re just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it’s not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There’s a nice campaign slogan for somebody: ‘The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope.”

Trump is a follower of the Constitution. He can’t intervene unless it is an outside threat, or state governors ask for assistance. Sure, it’s frustrating to follow the law, and the Constitution, but it is the only way we will have a United States of America on the other side after the attacks of the left.

The ‘easy’ way isn’t the right way with this. Tucker Carlson and Limbaugh need to understand that Trump isn’t going to abuse the Constitution to ‘save’ it. We are NOT socialist, communists, or Fascists, we are a free people. Trump should put his trust in the citizens whom understand this.

Trump is obviously surrounded by DS plants who have been running the government, no matter who is elected to the Presidency, since at least the second Clinton term. He has very few people around him he's sure he can trust and even fewer who could stand up to the kind of crap they just put Flynn through without doing whatever the permanent government types told the to do.

So Trump can't even count on the military, for God's sake, and Tucker comes along and sticks the shiv in cause "Trump isn't leading" like he should.

Tucker dropped a few pegs in my estimation. The bow tie Republicans go all in behind Biden and the next thing you know Tucker has a bloody shiv in his hand.

IMHo, there's a good chance this his way of staying on Fox after being put on notice that he'd better criticize Trump or find another job. If so, then even Tucker who is supposedly in Trump's corner plays the game when his butt is on the line but Trump is supposed to act without knowing that orders he gives as President will even be obeyed.

Another one bites the dust

Yep. But just WHO appointed Bolton, Scaramucci, Bannon, Sessions, Mattis, Tillerson, and so many others?

I'd also ask who the advisors were, and if Kushner...goodbye, already.

No one should be at all surprised. The criminal class has always dreamed of a world without police and that’s all this amounts to.

Anyone who is paying attention, knows that the soviet state
did not consider the criminal element a threat.
They were considered as politically reliable while
the intellectuals were enemies of the state

And from that rose an autocrat who assumed dictatorship and waged war against all of Europe for two decades. We saw this in ancient Rome too.

So is that what we have in store?

He’d do well to bring Sessions back in the fold and quit with the friendly fire already. If there is anyone who can help put things back together again it is Jeff Sessions.

Trump’s problem was always going to be fielding qualified people that aren’t compromised by the deep state. If you have the experience, guess what, you’ve been working for the deep state. He needs someone who knows where the bodies are buried and that is Jeff Sessions imo.

Can somebody please show me in the Constitution where it says that the Federal Government is responsible for policing crime in cities within the various sovereign states?

I know the 10th Amendment is archaic, but I still value it.

The damn MAYORS are responsible for maintaining law and order in their cities. They are free to ask for help from the Governor. The Governors are free to ask for help from the Federal Government.

The Federal Government does not have the constitutional authority to run roughshod over all of the Mayors’s autonomous authority to police their cities.

Of course, nobody else follows the constitution anymore, so why should I care. It makes me cringe when Trump tweets out his ideas for heavy handed federal responses not authorized by the US Constitution, or generates Executive Orders for same.

The president can’t do it alone.

Tucker needs to set his sights on many of our reps in the House and Senate and hold them to the same standards that he holds Trump.

So Tuck, if I’m feeling neglected and undefeated against the anarchist mob, come November I’m going to vote to elect the very mob that is attacking me?

Sorry. Does not compute.
