The thought of moving out of the good 'ole USA scares me. I would never move. There are cartels and crooked police down there. Had a friend who traveled to Brazil (back in the 90's) for work for an extended period of time, his home in Brazil had a guard. Had a boss who traveled to China for work, okay in the city but when they went to factories outside the city, he had 4 armed guards with guns pointed out the window. American's are ripe for kidnapping in foreign countries, they know they can get a good ransom. Also afraid of doing something wrong and end up in a foreign jail. Think I'll just stay here in the good 'ole US of A.
True on USA, but Balkans & Eastern Europe have been good about keeping invaders out lately, a lot better option than S America. New Zealand would be good if I could afford it, alas not a billionaire, yet!
